SHINee are back with "Atmos," their sixth mini album and first release in about a year, dropped June 1, 2026 through SM Entertainment to mark the group's 18th anniversary. We go track by track through all six songs for a full honest review: the house-y title track "Atmos," the disco-funk of "Hours," the UK garage push of "Possibility," the colder "Anti Believer," the rain-soaked "Still Raining" (μλκΈ°), and the ballad closer "Thousand Miles Away."
SM is calling this the "most SHINee-like" album they've ever made, the deliberate flip side of 2023's experimental "Hard." So the big question we're putting on trial: after 18 years, what does the most SHINee song actually sound like, and does the comeback live up to the pitch? Onew, Key, Minho and Taemin get the full Cut or Keep treatment, no skips, no free passes.Follow Vanessa Jefferson, the Pop Prophet: https://www.instagram.com/redfairydf

00:00:00 --> 00:00:13 This is CCTV, the nonstop pop show, where we provide our unfiltered, honest opinions on global pop music.
00:00:13 --> 00:00:37 That's right. My camera's excited, too. It moves, like, several times. It was like, oh, my God. We're both, like, really excited. Listen, we are unofficially an official or official unofficially a shallow podcast with how many shiny episodes we've already done on the show. We have our Pop 101, which we deep dive into their career, really up until They Don't Call Me, right? The debut track battle, which was a solo battle, and a tame and discussion, and we've also reviewed albums.
00:00:37 --> 00:00:57 and singles and singles and i was not joking but we've done a lot of shiny stuff on our channel and shells who always show up for us we love y'all okay truly yes but yes i am such a shawl i'm so excited that they're back i did stay up again and woke up at 4 a.m to watch shiny world live stream
00:00:57 --> 00:01:21 Was I like, I was traveling, like literally I was like, I'm dead. I'm fat in my brain. It was right after we got back from London. That's what it was. Yeah. Anyway, very excited that Shiny is back with Atmos, which is their sixth Korean language mini album released June 1st, 2026. And it is, of course, time to their 18th anniversary as a group.
00:01:22 --> 00:01:40 Yes. And this is positioned as the quote unquote most shiny like music that they've made in a while. Reflecting their more refined and distinctive musical color. So after going more experimental with songs like Hard in the past few years, the veterans have circled back to what they sound like at their core.
00:01:40 --> 00:02:09 Yes, and this rollout leaned hard into a weather concept with visuals built around light breaking through rain. And SHINee debuted all six tracks live during the SHINee World Tour 8 concert run. So now we're going to deep dive into the production, vocals, visuals and performances of each song. And then we're going to drop our individual ratings and you are free to join us. Okay, but beware. If your discretion is advised, your fave and our faves will be criticized.
00:02:09 --> 00:02:28 Yeah, so before we get into the tracks, let's talk about this little EP mini album cover. Yes! Okay. Listen. What do you think? They're wearing their color. Okay. See here, I got the OG light stick. Yes. Listen, y'all, this thing costs a lot of money. But anyway, point is, I like how...
00:02:29 --> 00:02:58 they look like they just burst onto the scene like a little firework. They look like little, they look so cute and happy. But I also love how they're like, they're bathing in light. It looks like they're bathing in the light of something heavenly or maybe the shallow of love. Who knows? But yeah, it's overexposed. You can't quite make out who's who, like, you know, who's who obviously, but there's something about the vagueness of all of it, but it's all still feels so happy and light. And the name, the title at most is fire. Like no one's going to have that except them. Like,
00:02:58 --> 00:03:17 You know, it's awesome. I love that. Yeah, I really like it. It feels ethereal. It's like they've been surrounded by fairies or something after a storm. Like, I don't know. Yes. And I enjoy how, you know, candid it is. Like, they were probably just told just to jump around and then...
00:03:17 --> 00:03:43 You know, you get the shot and it's so fun. No, it is fun. It is fun. I love it. But there is a darkness to it, right? I think because it's at night, I think because it has that ethereal quality to it, there is this kind of extra layer of maybe not darkness, maybe just like kind of a spirituality to it. Yes. Which is interesting. Yes. The darkest night, the brightest star needs the darkest night.
00:03:44 --> 00:04:00 Yeah. Okay. So let's get into the tracks. First, we have the title tracks, which is Atmos. Yes. Done by Kenzie, Andrew Choi, Eldon, and Runo. And the lyrics describe a perfect love experienced through all five senses and compared to floating in the air.
00:04:05 --> 00:04:28 that's that's the press release version y'all this song is about making love there is no doubt in my mind there is no doubt this song's a little spicy y'all don't let the expansive sense in the immensely deep soundscape of this production and the spacey titles confuse you okay they are making love or at least the lyrics are like the future lingers oh yeah they become
00:04:28 --> 00:04:54 heat wraps around colors spread i want some heat to wrap around me i want some colors to spread color me bad oh my oh my oh my yes oh my god yes i have it in my notes thank you you get it god it's lovely and i love the meaning behind these lyrics like there's a pure kind of connection um and it feels so good and it feels so intense and i love how it's articulated into this
00:04:54 --> 00:05:10 song it does feel intimate and it is gentle in the right places and then it explodes and this glittery sparkling climax oh oh my yeah oh my oh my oh my
00:05:12 --> 00:05:40 Also, we do make jokes on the show, so if you're like, why are you laughing? Because, you know, we're friends making jokes about the show. Correct. But all the jokes aside, though, the guys have the chops for the delivery and the emotion that the song calls for. There's falsettos, there's breathy chest voice, there's some melisma here and there, and then the belting, all the hollering that came after. I am not mad at all, actually. I think it really is, it truly is a shiny song, like a grown-up version.
00:05:40 --> 00:05:49 It's not them being five Michael Jacksons. It's them being four grown men settled into their sound. I love that. Yes. I mean, look, a shiny title track rarely disappoints.
00:05:49 --> 00:06:13 And this one does not. This whole track is so good. There is an urgency to it. It does make it feel like you're chasing this moment. This could be the only time with this person, potentially, you know? But yeah, so FYI, I am a drummer, so I will always pay attention to percussion and the percussion in this.
00:06:13 --> 00:06:36 super dramatic there's so much going on here with all the symbol hits and the rolls and everything but it just makes it feel so powerful and the way the song builds i love the chorus with how with all the hits in it that's definitely my favorite favorite part of the song but the chorus builds really nicely as well i i do want to shout out minho his vocal execution
00:06:36 --> 00:07:02 His vocals, they have improved so much. He has clearly put so much work into it over these past few years. He's really learned how to work his tone and his range and kind of where it sits. And he sounds beautiful singing the chorus. He does the second one. Yes. So yeah, I do want to shout him out there. And then yeah, the ad lives over that final chorus. Onu with that huge note.
00:07:02 --> 00:07:30 I'm not going to do it, but y'all. Dang. His jaw was dropped, okay? When I say that, he said marionette. It was open. I'm making a weird joke, but guys, if you know a singer, it's not like this, open your mouth, get the sound out. He does it every time. Every time. Oh, my God. Yes. But yeah, I think the song is beautiful. Yes, I agree. And then the music video, excuse me. I got a little head on myself. I got excited.
00:07:30 --> 00:07:43 But yeah, I really do appreciate the music video. It's a typical K-pop approach, you know, where the guys are attending to me. It's not about love. It's about our friendship. Okay.
00:07:46 --> 00:08:15 Listen, if you are a Shao, you are probably pretty much, like, not a child any longer. You get what I'm trying to say here. You guys know what I'm saying? Like, yeah. But, yeah, I do appreciate the whole we're connecting to each other. We're separate, but together in different ways. Connected by one thread. Yes, yes, yes. I love it. The dance scenes are a perfect combo of their old visuals, like, view. You know, like, the fireworks scene, them dancing on the street. Love that. And then newer, like, good evening or even hard, where they're in that studio with the LED. Like, there's something very...
00:08:15 --> 00:08:37 analog and digital about the video and i love that it doesn't feel too like obviously it's very heavily edited in terms of like transitions and animation but it still feels um natural to a certain extent you know um it feels acoustic and it feels um electronic at the same time i don't know how to describe it but there is something about the video maybe it's the color grading um
00:08:37 --> 00:09:00 that leans heavily into their color which is very funny but um it's just the cool tones um mixed with the acting as well it's just very laid back for how energetic the song is even the styling of the clothing it's just it's not anything extravagant it's simple but the silhouettes are very like sharp or like you know you can tell the slowest are nice but they're not like
00:09:00 --> 00:09:21 shoulder pads and layers. It's just simple silhouettes, and I like that. Yeah. No, I think the video is beautiful. Even when it starts, and you kind of get all the flashing at the beginning and all the glitching, and it's like, oh my gosh, what is this story that they're about to tell? Yeah, I find the whole thing really beautifully done, like with the four boys kind of,
00:09:21 --> 00:09:44 on their own journeys or whatever. And then they're kind of all still connected to each other or helping each other in a way. And yeah, the whole thing just feels really seamless. Like it was just very, very well thought out. I thought the animation towards the end was very interesting. Ooh. What did you see? I don't know. I just thought, I just, I, what'd you see? Hmm.
00:09:45 --> 00:10:03 I feel like I missed something. No, I wanted your interpretation because I was like, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh. It was interesting. Yeah, I was like, I think maybe they just didn't want to maybe film that part, but they were all just coming together. Yeah. You know, and at the end, the explosion of the dancing. Yes. You know, so...
00:10:03 --> 00:10:33 Okay, I thought there was like some big symbolism. There might be. Let us know if there is. But, you know, I think even with the recurring things that were happening, right? Like there's the deer, there's the flowers that kind of fly through them. They're running through the flowers. There's the, you know, the 0525 on the keys. Yes. Like all these little things in the world that are kind of just keeping the connection alive. Synchronicity. Yeah. I just thought the whole thing was beautiful. Yes, Chris. That's what it is. Thank you. Yeah.
00:10:33 --> 00:10:59 couldn't find a word for it oh my god yes and then they did perform it on yinke gaio and they of course performed it on the tour um so i'm so glad we got a tv performance i think it wasn't originally scheduled i think all the fans were like please please do one they did it which is which is amazing yes because you know i believe the last time they did it was without onu so this has been a long time since we've gotten a music show performance from them
00:10:59 --> 00:11:16 Hello. Where are you? Yeah. It's not you're not trying to do it. I know. But yeah, the version on the tour, dude, the live band with intro that they did with all the extra drums and stuff. So dramatic. So beautiful. And the lighting during that performance was wild. Can you imagine being there? Oh my God.
00:11:16 --> 00:11:42 Dude, okay, so they did luckily stream both the Korean and Japanese shows. And the Korean one is more focused on close-ups and stuff. The Japanese one, you can kind of more see kind of the breadth of the staging. And, dude, the lasers and stuff that were just going ham during that were just wild. Yeah, speaking of the choreo, though, I have so much respect for them because they do not need to work this hard.
00:11:43 --> 00:12:12 Oh my God. They really don't. No, not, dude. They're our age. You know, they're mid-30s. Yeah. Like, this choreo is hard. They are hitting a lot. It's intricate. It's quick. Yeah. It's, yeah, there's a lot of little things happening with their fingers and their hands. Yeah. And it's, they're hitting some crazy musicality throughout it. There's movement across the stage. There's a ton of formation changes. Yeah. Yeah.
00:12:12 --> 00:12:26 It's a lot. And they are killing it. You know, I feel like SM has this thing where they've reinforced everyone's kneecaps and their larynxes. Yeah.
00:12:26 --> 00:12:44 Because you don't go through that system without either getting a really bad injury, but being an amazing dancer, and starting as a rapper, but then ending up learning how to sing. Jokes aside, Musical.io is also...
00:12:44 --> 00:13:09 in my notes but even with all the craziness that was happening i was watching them performing i was like there's some effortlessness that comes with their faces and great it could be because they were lip-syncing we all listen if you don't think they were lip-syncing that's on you we're not gonna argue um but but even if you're dancing this will be this little piece of you know it's a lot and i think with younger groups
00:13:09 --> 00:13:30 They really have to prove it. They have to smile a lot. These guys are not, they may smirk. They may give you a little something, but they understand the lyrics that they're singing. So they're going to be like, Edmus. The director's going to smile the whole time. They know what they're talking about. It has to be a little bit intense. It has to be a little bit smoldery. But yeah, the choreography is very focused on proper musicality, I think, because it is. And the music is doing so much.
00:13:30 --> 00:13:51 Yes. It's not like shocking movements, but because the music is doing a lot in terms of dynamics, it is a lot to do. So shout out to y'all. I'm praying for your knees. I think Mid-Hill might be the one that's like pretty okay and tame in because like, you know, he's doing high rocks or whatever the heck people are doing now. Right, right, right. I don't know for when.
00:13:51 --> 00:14:12 Dude, shout out to Onu, though, because he was hitting these moves. I have him later on because obviously they performed all these tracks. But he, you can tell he is giving his all. Yes! Yeah, and he is such a solid dancer. I think I said this in the last Shiny review. You did. He is such an underrated dancer because he...
00:14:12 --> 00:14:29 is so clean with his movement. He finishes everything. He doesn't, and yeah, he hits everything really, really cleanly. Yes. And Minho, he's also, dancing-wise, has also improved a lot. Yeah. Especially with the way he works out. It's really easy to get stiff. Mm-hmm.
00:14:29 --> 00:14:56 And he's kept it. He's able to smooth things out. He's kept his flexibility. Like, I have so much respect for all four of them, honestly. I hope the girls be just like y'all. Because what the heck? Give me your kneecaps. Oh, man. All right. So what do you rate the song? Okay, for this album, because I know you'd be like, oh, the whole discography. I get it. I get it. But considering where it's coming from a polar artist, I think I gave it a high score, too. Yeah. Which now I'm like, dang, comparatively. Yeah.
00:14:57 --> 00:15:15 Is this better? And I think this song is a little bit better. I don't know. It's hard. But I do believe it's so hard. It is hard. So I, for me, this is kind of setting the bar for me in terms of what I like from them. Yeah. So I'll give this one a 10. I think it's like a perfect song on this album. There might be another 10. I don't know. Yeah. I do know. But...
00:15:16 --> 00:15:36 No, I get that. I believe I gave Poet Artist a 10. And I've liked a lot of songs like this, right? Like, this is their sound. Yeah. And it does a great job of it. So you know what? I will just match you. I can't justify anything lower at this point. It's a 10. I feel you on that, man. Yeah.
00:15:37 --> 00:15:54 All right, guys, up next is Hours, and this was done by Kenzie Hayden Chapman, Greg Bonnet, a.k.a. London Noise, and Adrian McKinnon, a name we've seen quite often, especially with XO. Yeah. And these lyrics are about collecting time, both past and the future, and giving that to a loved one.
00:16:00 --> 00:16:20 It's your boys, London Noise. They changed their tag. I know. I know. It was cute. I'm not mad at it, though. This one was cute. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, this. I mean, I said the last one sounds like shiny, but like this is as shiny as you could possibly get. I would say this kind of electronic, funky, disco-y pop.
00:16:21 --> 00:16:43 It's just them. They have so many songs like this and they're all amazing. It's so funny. Yeah. But yeah, with this song, the main thing that I noticed actually, aside from it obviously being great, is that vocally, I know we kind of praised them already. But vocally, I know I praised Minho earlier, but honestly, all four of them. Yeah.
00:16:44 --> 00:17:13 There's such a variety of tones. Mm-hmm. And they've really learned how to execute. Mm-hmm. In a very balanced way. Yes. They've all just matured so well. There's a ton of dynamics, and this song just showcases it so well. You get the softer tones. You get the more aggressive tones. You get the big chest belts. You get the falsettos. And then this one has a ton of harmonies and background vocals too, right? Yeah. So...
00:17:13 --> 00:17:43 I will say, Shining has always prioritized backing vocals overall. Yeah. Which I appreciate. But in this one, you can really hear it. Like, there's so many layers in the chorus and the post-chorus, and you can tell it's not just one of them layered across each other. It really is all of them. You know? So yeah, this one, honestly, if you're a Shining fan, you kind of, it's impossible to not like this song. Oh, you know, listen, I said this is a classic Shining song, too. Legit, like, one sentence, period. Yeah. Yeah.
00:17:43 --> 00:18:06 um honestly i would love to interview london noise like seriously like yes come on our show come on um the fun easy breezy energy is here i think it's good to have this after this explosion of glitter um this feels like spring it's bright uh the future base fits this group um and it lifts and it bounces really nicely um
00:18:06 --> 00:18:20 in a way that feels current, where they don't feel really bogged down by, like, the complete wretchedness of disco. Nothing wrong with disco, but I think because it's been, like, beaten down and worn out to the ground for the past. This 2020 hit,
00:18:20 --> 00:18:46 it can feel a little bit stale if you do not attempt to you know galvanize it a bit with like future bass for example or a trap section where minho gets to shine um and for whatever reason reminding of exo um what um was say one's part i forgot what song it was what song is that oh
00:18:48 --> 00:19:03 know what I'm talking about. I totally know what you're talking about. Oh my gosh. Well, one thing that is, I'm going to have to confirm whether or not this is an exo demo or not. But it was just so funny. What is it? It's a feeling? Is it?
00:19:04 --> 00:19:30 Maybe. I don't know. It's something. But it's San Huon's part. Minho could, you know, they could swap that. Yeah. What I mean, it's like classic, shiny. The lyrics are romantic. The music is bouncy. It's happy. They can hear the smile on their face. I love the lyrics because it is about quality time from past, present, and going forward. I love that I replay you back then line in the beginning that he says. It feels like a nod. Not a nod. Of course. A nod.
00:19:30 --> 00:19:57 Is it? Who knows, but I hope it is. But yeah, the song is kind of cheesy because you have a line like, you know, Uptima, it means don't laugh. Like, it's so real. Like, eyes on me, Uptima. He's like, you know, you're trying to have a moment and your lover's like... You know, it's funny. But the way it's sung, it feels casual. It feels like a conversation. So I do appreciate that. It's like, listen, I'm trying to be romantic with you. I love you a lot. You're just like, okay, I know I'm not going anywhere.
00:19:58 --> 00:20:26 And also the line in the pre-hook, the whole time, reminds me of Miss Doubtfire. The whole time? It's hard to make me hear the whole time. But yeah, I like this song because when you've been with someone for a long time or if you relationship, friendship, whatever, it's easy to forget how special they are. And this song is a gentle reminder of appreciating and looking forward to the future. And also it feels like a message to the fans. So it's like, I see you. I appreciate you guys being here. I'm having a moment. I'm about to get teary eyed. So don't laugh at me.
00:20:26 --> 00:20:41 You know, like the midsection. So, yeah. That's what it reminds me of. Nice. Performance-wise, this one's actually a breather for them. Hallelujah. Fancy footwork. Easy breezy interact easy with the fans. Like, good for them.
00:20:41 --> 00:21:00 Yeah, yeah, yeah. They do get to not dance during the verses and actually just kind of enjoy the moment a little bit. I do think it's funny how in all their shiny worlds recently, they will just lip sync all the new songs, and then they'll sing everything else live for the most part. But you know what, they're doing the most of these shows, so...
00:21:00 --> 00:21:29 I get it. We just talked about it. You deserve the little break for sure. But yeah, the choreo in the choruses, that's fun. It's a lot of grooves. Does get a bit more hard hitting for that post chorus as well. Yes. Yeah. I'm glad they get to kind of just jump around a little bit for this one. Yep. Before shouting their lungs out. This is, this is their Beyonce B-Day album. They were loud on this album. They were, they were. Oh man. Okay. So I give this one a nine. How about you? You know what? I'll match you. Okay. I'll match you.
00:21:30 --> 00:21:56 Okay, next is Possibility, done by Lee Su-Ron, Jin Bai Jin, and Jop. And the lyrics are about believing in one's own potential and continuing forward amid fear and disorientation. Hang on, quick question. These are from the press release. I know, it's just so funny, because I'm like, y'all are really trying to lay this on real thick. Thank you for answering that question before I ask it. Yeah.
00:22:02 --> 00:22:28 Hello, one of my faves on the album. Hello, hello. Oh. Listen. Throwback. This is a throwback. But yes, this song is interesting because like what started in the beginning with the guitars really felt like a punk pop moment. A pop punk moment. And then the drums went into this UK garage. And then in the pre-hook, I'm thinking like, is this Clocks by Coldplay? There is a lot. It's like not a crazy copy, but there is a lot of...
00:22:28 --> 00:22:46 sonics and textures and energies of various genres that are gathered on this song. And I think the production tells a story without words. And like, as a songwriter, if you hear a production and it's telling you, hey, write about this song, about like perseverance and stuff, then write it.
00:22:46 --> 00:23:15 I think that the issue is making sure it doesn't sound super cheesy. And I think the song does a good job. The lyrics are powered by the music for me. The song could stand alone in terms of melody. But I think the production, if it was the chicken, the lyrics were certainly the egg. Because I feel like the production itself does a really good job of having a momentum. And the songwriters understood the assignment, essentially, and created lyrics that made sense but also felt right. So it wasn't just like...
00:23:15 --> 00:23:40 We've heard some songs I've complained about on certain albums where I'm like, I love the production, but why are these lyrics about teamwork and friendship and love? And what the heck was happening? Right. That's my opinion. But I love the lyrics about, you know, life is uncertain. There's darkness that you need to break through. And the lyrics speaks to the struggles that you have to push through to discover the possibilities. Yeah. The rainbow. Hang on, wait. I got it. Possibilities.
00:23:42 --> 00:24:02 But yeah, so for a group that's been through their own kind of darkness, this song is super poignant. This song is like, you know, the anime opening or like a movie soundtrack where the antagonist powers through. And through the power of friendship, wins game five of the NBA finals after 53 years of losing. Next baby, oh, na-na. Na-na-na-na-na-na, okay?
00:24:04 --> 00:24:28 That's funny. Oh, man. Yeah, I like this one. I enjoy the chorus melody a lot. Like, yeah, there is that. It is empowering, but yeah, I think it does toe that line well, like you just mentioned. Yeah, if you fall down, got to keep running. Like, I appreciate that as the messaging there. And yeah, I appreciate the UK Garage kind of beat and inspiration here. Yeah.
00:24:28 --> 00:24:47 Yeah, that's how they say it, you know? They do. I'm trying to match it. Okay, gosh. But yeah, so I think the overall production is pretty cool. I will say the verses, they're kind of just okay for me, like just melodically. I don't ever really remember it, but the chorus is like very satisfying. So to me, the verses are kind of just all this build up to that in a way. Mm-hmm.
00:24:48 --> 00:25:06 And yeah, again, with the vocal layering, I appreciate the lower octave used a lot here. Also something that's not really used in K-pop for some reason, like that bass. Yeah, no one. They don't like that layer, but shiny. They always do it. You know, Ki and Minho hold it down down there. Yeah.
00:25:06 --> 00:25:27 um i do like the bridge quite a lot here i do want to mention that the way everything pulls back it all feels very introspective before it explodes again so i i do like this track um i will say choreo wise though they are doing the absolute most there is a lot going on especially in those verses they are hitting
00:25:28 --> 00:25:53 Every syllable, every single... Okay, for those dancers, I'm going to say, like, one E and a two E and a three E and a... They're doing even more than that sometimes. It's crazy. Okay, is it, like, everybody crazy? Or is this, like, just right below that? Well, everybody is crazy because every single move is so big. Right. Okay, yes. But this one's so crazy because it's so fast. Like, they're literally hitting everything. Yeah. Yeah.
00:25:53 --> 00:26:18 Which is an interesting choice. I would say the chorus, though, is a little bit more just kind of jumps and grooves and stuff. Yeah. And I like that they kind of switch from hitting the vocal melody to then hitting some of the synths and stuff at the back. I kind of appreciated that. Yes. But yeah, just the verses, I'm just staring at them like, whoa. It's a lot. Are you okay? Blink if you need help. Blink. Blink. Blink.
00:26:21 --> 00:26:48 So this is one of my favorite songs on the album. I can't lie when it came around. Okay. I like this. I was going to give it a 9.5. Maybe 9. Maybe 9. I don't know. But 9.5 is the worst thing right now. I might change my mind. I love that. Yeah. Okay. I'm going to go with an 8 for this one. If you're not watching, I'd threaten to hit Chris with my light stick. An 8 is still really high. I don't want to hear it. Was that good?
00:26:49 --> 00:27:02 No kidding. But yes, I'm enjoying our time. He's enjoying our time, even though I just threatened him. Like, if you were enjoying the episode so far, you can join us everywhere on CCTV Pops. And of course, if you want to hang out with us unfiltered.
00:27:02 --> 00:27:30 like that Atmos song. You can join us and the CCTV crew for exclusive live sessions and the ability to help us pick future episode topics like more taming episodes. We haven't actually done any of his solo albums. Just freaking insane. There is so much SHINee that I want to do. So you guys have to show us some love so that we do them. Yes, y'all. I want to do all the old SHINee albums. I want to do all the solo stuff. Like, I'm ready. Let's get it. All right, so make sure you join us at patreon.com slash CCTV puffs. Peace.
00:27:31 --> 00:27:35 Okay, so let's move on to anti-believer.
00:27:36 --> 00:28:04 Park Taewon, Elias Edmond, Noah Kelsing, Kazi Opea, Ellen Burke, and Henrik Heaven. And these lyrics are about deception and disillusionment. And fun fact, the choreography was done by Shurekun, who was previously known as one of the shiny kids who toured with Shiny in Japan years ago. He noted in an Instagram that he originally divided the choreography evenly into four equal parts, but decided to change it to leave space for Junghyun.
00:28:05 --> 00:28:31 yeah yeah but i love the lore so apparently he's now just like a big time choreographer oh my god good for him mom oh my gosh oh that's adorable good dude i had a question for the got a question for the people out there in the audience have you ever believed in love and
00:28:32 --> 00:28:58 Someone ruined it. Yeah, well, that's what that song's about. I mean, it's about a bunch of things about being disappointed, but it seems like it's taking the standpoint of loving and your heart broken. You know, like, oh, my heart's so cold. And I hate that I'm an anti-believer. And I get that, you know. It's interesting because this song definitely has a bounce that makes you question the song's theme. But this is choreographed cynicism, nihilism in a neat pop package. And I'm not mad at that at all. Yes.
00:28:58 --> 00:29:15 Because I think what ends up happening is that people think, it's a sad song, I have to write sad lyrics. No, no, no, this is crying in the club, baby girl, welcome. Party of however many hundreds of thousands of people and millions of people. But yeah, I think it's one of those things where it balances that negative...
00:29:16 --> 00:29:41 that negative thing well with like admitting like, hey, I have an issue. I'm not fixing it. It ain't going to get fixed. Now watch me catch this groove. You know, so I appreciate that. And interestingly enough, there's a guitar at the end of it that reminds me of batata rhythm. It's not quite that. But there's something different about that. I'm not singing the right melody for this guitar. Like I'm not listening to the song right now. But the point is...
00:29:41 --> 00:30:03 it descends the notes or is doing something where it's kind of playing it's not a typical riff that you would hear and i'm thinking it sounded like a bachata guitar rhythm i'm i could be completely wrong but i was like aventura is that you i'm totally joking um but yeah i was sitting there thinking this is nice this is different and i do appreciate that for sure yeah yes
00:30:04 --> 00:30:32 I mean, this also feels very classic shiny. And if you can tell from these writers, it's Scandinavian dance pop. Yeah. You know, at its finest, I would say. And actually, what was really funny was I saw some comments from some other, you know, from other people like online, some other reviewers and on Reddit and stuff. Oh, my heart's so cold in the chorus. They said sounds like the wanted's glad you came.
00:30:45 --> 00:31:15 That's an interesting reference. Yeah. I'm not mad at it. No. Iconic boy band reference. Why not? Yes. You know? That's so funny. But yeah, I really like this one. I love the way the bass hits come in for that pre-chorus. Also, Taemin sounds so dreamy when he sings that part. Like, he has... Oh, his tone is just so beautiful there. Yeah, this whole first half of the chorus, I kind of like how kind of robotic it is. And, you know, especially with the way they layered the octaves and the harmonies, too.
00:31:16 --> 00:31:37 that post chorus kicks in and there's a bit more attention there. So yeah, it's kind of refreshing to have a song that's a bit more dark, I guess. Oh yes. You know, the last couple were quite positive. So, you know, just give us a different layer. You know, we're all adults here. There's ups and downs in life. You know what? Oh, say it again for the people in the back. Yeah.
00:31:37 --> 00:31:53 right do you think k-pop's supposed to be all bright and all the time no these are grown men with grown men problems exactly i do also appreciate the rap section between minho and key in the second verse as well there's a nice intensity there and i love the way when they perform it too and key pushes minho it's very dramatic
00:31:53 --> 00:32:15 You got to keep it dramatic. Speaking of the performances, I love the costuming. Costuming, excuse me. Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. Like, I think there's something so special about them because they can do Swarovski sparkly really well, but they do leather and casual couture so amazingly. He with that eye patch. Oh, yeah. And then taking it off. Yeah. With a choreography. Yeah.
00:32:16 --> 00:32:42 That's the kind of well-rehearsed I want to see in my K-pop. Not like we're going to stand here at the microphone and not move. I want to see you. I worked on this eye patch removal for freaking two weeks. That's what I want to see. And then when he throws it back to, and you, oh. Yeah. Yeah. Look, I watched Shiny World day two, day three, and Japan. And he kills it every time. So again, this is coming from a place of like, we like them. True fan here. True fan here.
00:32:42 --> 00:33:09 Right. I got this from a random Japanese person in Japan when I ordered it. I got this light stick before they released the sleek little skinny version of it. Oh, yeah. Like the Ozempic version. I got the original. I got the original juicy five diamond one. Okay? Nice. I got the little Ozempic pen. The EpiPen version. I will buy the new one when they tour the U.S.
00:33:10 --> 00:33:27 You know what? I don't blame you. I guess it's pack your bags, baby. We're going to Japan. Yeah, I think we're going to Korea or Japan. We're going to Japan. Anyway, yeah, back to the choreography again. The lore itself already makes this choreography pretty iconic. Yeah. But I actually do appreciate the musicality of this one. Mm-hmm.
00:33:27 --> 00:33:41 it does allow them to breathe a little bit and sit in some of the moves. And in that chorus, like, for example, there's like that snap and there's like a slow kind of drag. And there's like, I don't know, there's a lot of tension in it, which I really like. You memorize that. I love that.
00:33:41 --> 00:34:04 I mean, like I said, I watched day two, day three, and Japan. Okay. Shinies is personality for like those four days. But yeah, and then I appreciated that the dynamics too with the background dancers. Because in the verses, they were doing more. Yes. And the boys kind of just stand in the middle and kind of direct them and guide them around. Yeah. Yeah.
00:34:04 --> 00:34:21 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I really, really appreciate that. I think the whole thing was done really well. And the little hip hits with the anti-believer and the snaps up. It's just, I mean, it's sassy and it's fun to do. So love this one. You know what?
00:34:22 --> 00:34:45 I get the feeling that I know your score. Took me a second. This one was a grower for me, actually. So I'm going to give it a 9. I don't hate it. I'm going to give it a 9. Maybe an 8.5. Maybe an 8.5. But it's sitting somewhere in that little sweet spot. Okay. I'm obsessed with this one. Like, honestly, when I first heard this whole project, I, like, wanted to listen to this one again. Oh, that's so cute. So this one does have a 10 for me. I love that. Yeah.
00:34:46 --> 00:35:15 All right, up next is Still Raining. And it's done by Jung Nagyong. Sorry, guys, I was laughing at my way I said that. So it's done by Jung Nagyong, Fat Fabe, Fairy Summer Doll, August Rigo, and Emily, and Yeon Seo Kim. And the Korean title is So Nagy, which means sudden shower or brief heavy rain. This is also the title of a short story from Korea about a boy and a girl who get caught in a sudden rain shower together and share a brief connection.
00:35:15 --> 00:35:30 and then they never see each other again. So lyrically, the song is about a brief moment that lingers even still after everything's over. And instead of performing the track, the group filmed a VCR to play during the concert.
00:35:35 --> 00:36:03 You love a good little VCR moment. Yes, and they've been doing this in the past few concerts, too, where you kind of get this exclusive music video moment for one of the VCRs, which I love. At least they're relevant, because sometimes you get these VCRs, and you're like, girl, what is this? Right, right, exactly. So yeah, I like this one. I love how dreamy the production is. And of course, given the title, the way it starts, it's kind of like puddles almost, or like the slow drip of rain starting, and I thought that was cool. But yeah, there is a calm...
00:36:03 --> 00:36:20 quality to the whole thing which i do appreciate and an ease to the melody as well it does sound quite melancholic which i like yeah um and and yeah i think the production if you listen to it there's a lot going on actually
00:36:20 --> 00:36:46 There's these kind of zappy electric sounds that echo throughout it. And there's a lot of little things that just kind of come in as the song builds, which is cool. And Onu's big note at the end of the bridge, that build into that is so great. And, you know, we've been complaining about ad libs in general, I think, just kind of being missing from pop music recently. But these guys, we have. Yeah, I mean, they all of them do ad libs.
00:36:46 --> 00:37:05 Yes, guys, if you are just a K-pop fan, you don't know Beyonce's album B-Day. That was like her loudest, like, I'm belting my face off. Like, you know, like every song was like, ah, ah. She was hollering. This album is that for them too, I think. I feel like they were hollering a while. They're like, our voices are in top form.
00:37:05 --> 00:37:23 You know what? Go for it. Heck yeah. Heck yeah it is. I love how percussive the track is. I think after this whole splash of future bass, the synth symphony, the cacophony of freaking different sounds, this feels like a cool down. It feels like we're getting misted a bit.
00:37:23 --> 00:37:46 which I do appreciate. And, you know, the whole fleeting but deeply impactful romance thing, I understand, you know, same things have ended, but you remember the past fondly. I do like the line, I didn't ask for an eternity just to be in memory. And I get that. It's just like, if you weren't gonna last forever, please don't just shove me into the back and make sure you tell the story, tell people about me.
00:37:46 --> 00:38:03 That's how I changed your life. You know, like the rain wasn't bad and it still reminds them of that love. I think that's really cute. I mean, if you've ever been caught in the rain and you're with someone you like, it's kind of like, oh, yeah, you're running, kind of catching shelter. You get really close. Like there's something beautiful about the aesthetic of being with someone that you actually like.
00:38:03 --> 00:38:22 Think the notebook. Think anime when like the main protagonist has a love interest or gives him the umbrella. There's something special about being caught in the rain. And even with, I think with the elements like in Korea, it's like the first snow, like that's like your cellmate or whatever, or some crap like that, like you have a kiss or something. I forget.
00:38:22 --> 00:38:51 um but there is something about the weather and and precipitation and being with someone i don't know what that is but shout out to y'all um but yes going to what you were saying about their vocals i think minho in the second verse sounds so cozy cool um like very warm blanket because other members have higher voices than he do he does and yes they can go a little bit lower but he is what's grounding them like you're listening to these harmonies yes he is there but like minho's like he's the guy he's the guy doing this stuff for real for real um
00:38:51 --> 00:39:16 But yeah, I think the moment in the second verse is short and it's sweet. I appreciate him in moments like that. And then when he comes back in the bridge, it makes the Onu belt feel earned. Like that belt that we were talking about, it feels even more earned because of how it was written. The melody of it, it feels like a sudden stop. It was like da-da-da stop, line stop. And then it gets melodic with Onu and it feels earned. It feels like...
00:39:16 --> 00:39:45 I want to let go, but I can't. And you're still, and then you finally do let go. And that's Onu's belt. So it's interesting to have that dynamic for sure. And I love that. I can already just kind of like mentally feel like, oh my God, I wish I would have wrote a song like this. And that's, that's great. You know, the chorus is calming. I will say the melody hasn't stuck in my mind yet, just yet, as much as the verses and the prehook and the bridge. And that's okay. Like it doesn't have to be like sticky. You just, again, mist over your ears and just feel comforting. It doesn't have to be like stay in your heart. But if it does, good for you.
00:39:45 --> 00:40:11 Yes. And I love the VCR. The transitions are really great, super smooth. And I love the way that the rain is used. Like when it switches to Onu, just like being in the rain, and then it's over. And then you see the wet streets and the wet car and everything. Like, I love that. It's all very smooth. And it's quite simple. But it does evoke the feeling of the song very well.
00:40:11 --> 00:40:32 I think my favorite scene is the one in the car. I can't lie. I know it's like nothing to do with water. But yeah. Yeah, it's cool. I love good camera work. Yeah. You know, because it's like, were you in a car? Were you on a set? I have questions. So I do appreciate that. Mm hmm. Yes. So what do you rate this one? This one? I will give an eight. Okay, I'll go 8.5.
00:40:33 --> 00:40:59 Okay, the last song on this project is Thousand Miles Away. And this was done by Park Taewon, Maria Marcus, MLC, and Andrew Choi. And these lyrics have a hopeful message about dreaming of a better future. Asana loves that. Asana loves songs about a better future. You know, I would too.
00:41:01 --> 00:41:16 I mean, we all want a better future. Let's be real. No, no, no, no. I mean, specifically for this company. I think... I mean nothing by that. I don't know why my co-host is laughing so heartily. It's fair. It's fair.
00:41:16 --> 00:41:39 You know, I love SM. I do. I do. I mean, I love their music. I'll say that. I'm not... What's going on in that office? We don't know, but I love the music. But yes, anyway, this song, I will say, I don't usually like battles at the end of an album. I feel like every single time I do an album review, I don't care if it's American. I don't care if it's Australian. I don't care where you're from. I do not like the whole, I'm deep. I'm deep.
00:41:39 --> 00:42:07 Listen to the filler track. I'm so deep. It's an illusion. It's like we can say you could have put that in the middle and have it be good. Sure. But I will say because it's shiny. Very rarely do I not like your ballads. You know what I'm saying? So it's one of those things where I'm like, you're lucky it's you. You're lucky. That's fair. Yeah. You know, like melodically, it is simple. It isn't too like.
00:42:07 --> 00:42:34 charging along okay we can do it you know okay i appreciate that and um the lyric that really stands out to me like the days i've passed through connect me to a world more beautiful than the ones i've seen before and i was like right right brighter days it's like oh god let me not forget like it's okay
00:42:34 --> 00:42:57 But yes, I think moments like Minho and Onu, that was a vocal shift I didn't know I needed. I didn't realize. Oh, yeah, that second verse. Yeah. I didn't realize I don't get enough of it. You know? Yeah. It's like, oh, I never had this trip before. No, you have had it, but it's been a while since you've had it like this. And I was like, oh, I like it. Because I think it's nice. Like, when we talk about harmonies, this is what we want. Don't just put it on the record and then have everyone stand at the mic stand like this.
00:42:59 --> 00:43:19 And I waited for the part. But yeah, so I waited for this whole album review to kind of conclude. But I could totally hear Jung Hyun on this. A lot of songs I was listening to and I was like, I hear you. I hear you. So like moments. So again, he can do a really good ballad. That bad.
00:43:19 --> 00:43:42 you know, songwriting was never like, can he do it? He did it many times. So moments like this song, I think about it, I hear him. And it's nice because it's like, oh, he's still kind of there spiritually. And I think because they were all friends for such a long time, it's hard not to still have that.
00:43:42 --> 00:43:55 feel and especially with the production and the a and r's and everyone like no shiny sound like you don't just get rid of a sound because a member is missing but it still feels like i don't know like could he sing this part you know
00:43:55 --> 00:44:13 No, I will say in all of these albums these past few years, there are certain moments where I'm like, oh, that would have been his part. Yeah. Yes, I totally feel that for sure. And yeah, I will agree with you. I'm quite biased, obviously, clearly when it comes to SHINee. Are you? I'm going to be real. If this was sung by someone else.
00:44:13 --> 00:44:35 Would I think anything of it? I don't know. However, due to it being them and their vocals being so strong, this does make me like it more, I think, genuinely. But yeah, there is a warmth to this one, which I think wraps up the project nicely. And there's something kind of classic about the chorus melody.
00:44:36 --> 00:44:53 You know, and the runs and stuff are very nice here. Yeah. There is a lot going on in the percussion and stuff as well. So there is still an energy to it. It's not just like a really boring, plodding ballad. Yes, this is true. I do love the piano that comes in for the bridge as well. It's really beautiful.
00:44:54 --> 00:45:12 But yeah, I will say melodically, it's not my favorite of theirs. Right. I think watching them perform it did help because, like I said, I think those runs are nice. They sound good, especially Minho, again, kind of getting that ending there. Because that kind of run, it's not the easiest to do, especially because some of them are switching to their head voice as well. Oh, yeah.
00:45:12 --> 00:45:38 um so so yeah i think they actually executed it quite well and then for the concert i think it was the last song before the costume change so it goes into this big kind of electric guitar solo extended outro which i i'm not mad at all you know i love an electric guitar i know um so so and a live band right yeah so so yeah i'll i'll give this one an eight but i'm very aware that i'm biased because it's them and if this was sung by someone else it would be a lower score
00:45:39 --> 00:45:52 And my score is a little bit lower. I will give this a seven. It's just okay. 0.5 would be earned because of all the vocal stuff. But I think for me, I just... Great ending? No. Solid yes.
00:45:52 --> 00:46:17 Fair, fair. Okay, so that's the end of our track-by-track review. Yeah. So now we're on to our cut or keep section. So if we had to cut a song off this mini album, what would we cut and why? Oh, it's so tough. Because my thing is, like, this album isn't long enough to be like, oh, yeah. I know. I know. Cut this one. Because you don't need it. Because this repeats what you already said. Right. And it's like...
00:46:17 --> 00:46:42 Okay, if I did have to make a choice, I feel like in terms of like the more chiller tracks, Thousand Miles Away is the weaker one. The meaning behind it, shallows, shallows. I'm gonna hold your tooth when I say this. I get it. I understand. I'm gonna hold you by your nose hair. But pluck is not great.
00:46:43 --> 00:47:13 sorry he choked he wasn't laughing that hard right sorry okay i will agree with you yeah i think i like it a little bit more than you but i'll still agree with you i don't hate it i don't hate it but like still raining is like better i wouldn't get rid of still raining still raining is better yeah on my lower ratings right okay if we had to keep a song off of this i mean i mean at most is like pretty amazing i would say i know it's a title track so i also gave anti-believer a 10 so yeah
00:47:14 --> 00:47:40 just between those two for me you know what i really wish newy seeing it play the way they did because like oh sorry moment of silence yeah right sorry guys hang on everyone's everyone's might keep his possibility but you want to talk about like where they are now as men what have been what could have been
00:47:41 --> 00:47:59 I have faith that they are just waiting for some timing to like, I feel like there must be a clause where it's like you just have to wait like six years or something and then you're allowed to come back. Because their boy groups are falling apart and BTS is no friends to HYBE. I'm just saying like, you know, people are breaking up. Well, I hope they do it without HYBE.
00:47:59 --> 00:48:25 They just need Beckho to write them songs. They don't need Hive. Yeah. Anyway. Sorry, Hive, but you broke up our group. Yeah. Okay, back to Shiny. Right. Sorry. Yeah, we do talk about New East on our show, so make sure you check that out if you are a K-pop fan. We have a lot of K-pop episodes. Okay, check those out. All right, so now we're going to talk about our overall thoughts about this album. I feel like...
00:48:26 --> 00:48:40 Wait, did you choose a keep? Yeah, I did. I said possibility. That's a possibility. Okay. Noted. Noted. Okay. Got it. I got distracted. I just thought about Unubis. Okay. Yes. Overall thoughts. Overall thoughts on SHINee's Atmos mini album. Okay. Yeah.
00:48:41 --> 00:49:09 Solid. I think I kind of said this at the beginning. I'm just grateful as a shawl that they're still doing it. You know, like they don't need to if they don't want to. And, you know, we've watched some of these other groups kind of fall apart or, you know, they only come together like once every like five years. But like shiny have been so consistent and they've already announced shiny world, you know, part two of this trilogy situation that's happening and it's going to be next year. So, yeah.
00:49:09 --> 00:49:21 It's amazing, and I'm just grateful as a fan that they're still doing their thing. In addition to that, I appreciate that, like you were kind of saying, they've just embraced their sound, and they aren't trying to do the most to...
00:49:21 --> 00:49:42 adapt it like yes they have experimented in the past with stuff like hard and don't call me and stuff like that however if you actually listen to the whole project like they're still very consistent with kind of what they know that the fans want yeah and also just what their identity is as a group they're not trying to jump on any trends right like can you imagine they came back with a song and it sounded like i don't know
00:49:43 --> 00:50:12 straight kids. You know, like it would have been weird. and loud stuff from over it. Yeah. So, so I do appreciate that. And also, every song is, it's fleshed out. It's high quality. Like, they did not sacrifice any quality to try to make sure they were releasing something. Like, it doesn't feel half-assed in any way. So, as a fan, no complaints for me. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. I mean, shoot, these men have all figured out their lives. I think only two of them stay with SM, right? So, yeah,
00:50:13 --> 00:50:34 I appreciate them being like, all right. I'll sing something real quick. I don't know how they recorded it. Did they release like some behind the scenes? Like, are they all in the same studio? Not yet. Not yet. As of this recording, I saw they just released a dance practice, I believe of Atmos. Oh, fun. Okay. Like a, like a behind the scenes, like a 20 minute, like featurette of them doing, I haven't watched it yet, but yeah. Yeah.
00:50:35 --> 00:51:01 I hope some studio stuff comes out. Yeah. Yeah, me too. Because I think they're all, you know, separate but together kind of thing. But yes, I like this album. I suck into your notions. I also feel as if I'm just, I'm unsure of what they can possibly do in the next two releases or whatever the heck they're going to do. Because I'm just like, I'm sad. I don't, I want to see them obviously. But I'm like, what else can you guys talk about? Like, how much more good can it get? Because a lot of these groups,
00:51:02 --> 00:51:23 don't know how to make it good when they come back. Not all the time, but like a lot of time. So yeah, I appreciate it as well. I'm very grateful. And also, Taman's going to be in the UK next week. So if you are in the UK and you are listening to this, make sure you get tickets for his show. Ateez is headlining, which I think is he's, you know, Hubei
00:51:23 --> 00:51:50 you know sunbay thing i think it should be swapped but i get atez's you know bigger draw i get it but also it's tate meneal so go watch him go support him um and it's a shame that things are over in terms of this promotion and their tour because that's it i guess whatever fine whatever yeah yeah okay so as a final rating i'll give it a nine oh okay my scores are pretty high i think overall as a project not bad
00:51:51 --> 00:52:16 Is it my favorite? So 8.5. Yeah, definitely not my favorite. Yeah. Yeah, up there for sure. Amazing. From past to present. From flop to bop. The future is seen by the prophet of pop. Our pop prophet is back to give us a reading on Shiny. Shiny, yeah. What is in the cards?
00:52:17 --> 00:52:25 For our boys, Shiny. I love Shiny so much. I have to say I was lucky enough.
00:52:25 --> 00:52:51 to hear the demo for Atmos. Oh, wow. Yeah, and it was so beautiful. And I told my friend, wow, you guys are really, really gonna kill it. As you know, Kia's my buddy. Yes. So let's go ahead and pull for these guys. Individually, let me see. Temin, Temin, Temin, Temin.
00:52:53 --> 00:53:13 Kevin needs to figure a lot of stuff out, judgment, and not even knowing what's going on with him. It just feels like he's going through a lot right now, and he really has to find his footing and have a little patience with himself, have patience with this process.
00:53:13 --> 00:53:34 It feels like for him, that's been his issue is he he needs to move very fast. He seems like a fast mover. And he if he slows down, he'll be making way better choices going into this next level of his life. He's pretty incredible. Like, I feel like he's the next little Mikey, Mike Jack.
00:53:34 --> 00:53:48 Well, Mike Jackson's energy on him, and he could really be extra iconic if he, like, just would slow down and get out of his own head. Uh, then we've got sexy-ass men hope.
00:53:50 --> 00:54:20 endorsed by our pop prophet yes definitely definitely pro-signed by the show oh okay so this makes sense he's definitely this emperor energy um he seems like uh what he wants to go into is more like acting personality like maybe even like just finding his self in his personal life for a while um i feel like this the entertainment world for him is kind of making
00:54:20 --> 00:54:32 And I predict that he's about to take a nice little King of Pentacles break and really kind of like chill out. You see how this guy's sitting there with his dog taking a...
00:54:33 --> 00:54:57 a breather that's what it feels like he minho wants to do like maybe find his person maybe have some kids they're at that age you know he can do that but like with the as a group they would always come back together and work together this is the work card um they would always find each other again now oh no oh no i saw him on a lot of uh
00:54:58 --> 00:55:25 A lot of billboards and inside taxis when I was in Korea. And the hermit, I know he wants to do his own thing and really, like, figure out who he is as a soloist. And so, like, for him, he just has to figure out who is his audiences, where does he want to go. I feel like, honestly, if he were to leave, well, not leave Korea, but, like, find another country that, like, would...
00:55:25 --> 00:55:42 you know, be his fan base a little bit. It feels like maybe Europe, maybe South America, you know, like because a lot of the times we get caught up in our home country and we really want to like blow up there. But for him, it feels like if he goes to another country,
00:55:42 --> 00:56:08 he could find himself a little more and then bring that back to Korea and get that pride feeling that it feels like he wants to have. And look at this. Page of Swords is the travel card. He definitely needs to find his fan base in another place that's not Korea. Not saying he doesn't have fans there. Not saying there's no love for him there. But it feels like he wants more.
00:56:08 --> 00:56:28 And it's not going to be found in Korea at first, if that's, you know, if that makes any sense to anybody, which probably not. Interesting. Who are any of you shiny? We're not shiny, are we? But yeah, he just needs to not feel like disappointment or compare himself to his brothers and find his own way.
00:56:28 --> 00:56:55 Now to Ki. My little Ki-bomb. Let's see. Let's see. What is up with him? I just keep caring for him. Japan, Japan, Japan. Japan, Japan, Japan. He needs to take a leap for himself and do something crazy, something different, like break free. I know he's probably like there was lots of things in the news about things that he was going through. Yeah.
00:56:55 --> 00:57:22 And so it's probably like causing him a little bit of like a little anxiety. You see how this guy is kind of feeling a little flustered about things, but like that's not going to last forever for him. And he has a very strong fan base. I keep hearing Japan, Japan. And as long as he like keeps that and keeps his freedom and keeps being himself, he's going to be amazing. Like he's getting all kinds of pages.
00:57:22 --> 00:57:42 When pages come out of the deck, it's very much youth, being true to yourself, running wild, running free. And, like, he seems to already do that. But, like, the more freedom that he takes and stands on his own, the stronger he will become in his artistry. And as a group...
00:57:43 --> 00:58:10 I feel like they'll be able to just keep having comebacks whenever they want to. They're that iconic. And the word of the day seems to be iconic. But yeah, Three of Wands is coming out for the group. There's always something new for them on the horizon. So we can always rest assured that we're going to see a shiny comeback every three to five years. Like we can rest assured.
00:58:10 --> 00:58:35 assured in that but for them individually like i was saying um minho needs to take a break go and you know maybe have some kids oh no go to another country figure that out uh temen slow down and he be free and that is what i have to say about shiny okay
00:58:35 --> 00:59:02 I love it. And honestly, a lot of this is relevant. As we know, Damon has been going through a lot of the label troubles. Yes. Onu has been touring quite a lot on his own. Minho has literally been doing the absolute most. So it makes sense that he might want to take a little breather as well. So yeah, this all makes sense. Thank you, Pop Prophet. Yes. I didn't even know. I didn't even know. Oh my gosh, guys. Shiny world. So awesome.
