[00:00:02] While all this was happening, the group was given the opportunity to release the single for the Nutty Professor 2, the Klumps soundtrack in the UK. And though they didn't think the song was strong enough to be big enough to be a single, the opportunity was too good to pass up. And unfortunately, Not Even Gone a Trip only hit number 24 in the UK singles chart.

[00:00:27] Oof, okay. So it's so interesting because I think when we knew we were going to do this, I just started listening to their discography, right? And this song, I thought was pretty good.

[00:00:37] Yeah. You know? And it's so interesting because I'm sure just in the whole context of everything, they just were not very happy. So I'm sure those feelings also are brought back up when they hear the song, when they think of that promotional era, I'm sure.

[00:00:50] Because I actually think the song, I think the song's pretty good. Yes.

[00:00:56] You know, it's not amazing, but it's definitely Destiny's Child Light, you know? Yeah.

[00:01:01] The chorus is catchy. It's not like super, super strong, but it goes in line with where their sound was going.

[00:01:08] Yeah. I agree.

[00:01:09] And I think it works. There's definitely potential here. Them leaving the kind of cheesy valid thing and going for this.

[00:01:16] Yeah.

[00:01:17] More like this kind of cooler sound.

[00:01:19] Yeah. Needed to happen. It needed to happen.

[00:01:21] Uh-huh.

[00:01:22] But I also am interested as to why they abandoned Love to Love You Baby after that as well.

[00:01:28] Because I guess it was just never released.

[00:01:30] Like, it's not even like it was pushed as a single, like just for later because of the soundtrack opportunity.

[00:01:36] Yeah.

[00:01:36] It just like literally never happened. So that's too bad.

[00:01:38] Yeah. That's weird.

[00:01:39] I mean, why waste all that money?

[00:01:41] Maybe because I'm an independent artist, but I can't imagine recording a song and not releasing it.

[00:01:44] I'm sorry. I can't afford that.

[00:01:46] Oh, well, having worked at the major labels, I can tell you that that happens all the time.

[00:01:51] Quite often.

[00:01:51] Yeah, I know.

[00:01:51] Yes.

[00:01:52] But yeah, it's just, again, it's one of those things where I'm like, wow, you have an indispensable budget, even though, you know, you don't go off though.

[00:02:01] I like the direction of the song as well.

[00:02:03] It's feisty, but it is weird to watch this video for the group because like honestly, I don't know how anyone could just watch the video and like not be mildly confused.

[00:02:12] Like I said, like I said, shout out to Selena for being evergreen and consistent.

[00:02:16] But like at this point, whoever you heard on a song and then suddenly the face is like replaced.

[00:02:23] And then now you're listening to another song and it's like the face you used to know is it's so weird.

[00:02:31] Like it's, oh God, it's a mess.

[00:02:33] I mean, honestly, I would have gone solo at this point.

[00:02:35] I don't even know if that was a conversation she could have had with the, oh my God.

[00:02:39] Apparently, actually, I was listening to one of Selena's interviews.

[00:02:41] Yeah.

[00:02:41] Nama was offered a solo deal, but Selena was not.

[00:02:45] And I think this was back when, I forget if it was here when Heavenly came back or if it was the first time Heavenly left.

[00:02:52] But she did mention that.

[00:02:54] Ain't that something?

[00:02:55] Listen, y'all listen, this is why we need to have Selena on the show again.

[00:02:58] Yeah, reach out to her on social media for us.

[00:03:00] Reach out to the honeys for us.

[00:03:02] Okay.

[00:03:03] So following the release of Not Even Gonna Trip, the group was hard at work in the studio preparing their second album, which was tentatively titled Harmony.

[00:03:13] And as you mentioned earlier, Mariam actually did record a lot of it and they were kind of working on replacing her with Heavenly.

[00:03:20] Although if you look at then the next credits for the next few singles, it's like Mariam is kind of there.

[00:03:25] And then there's some where Heavenly is not there.

[00:03:27] That's very confusing.

[00:03:28] Anyway, in August 2001, Honey's released the new single, I Don't Know, which unfortunately only peaked at number 28.

[00:03:37] And is one of the songs that I believe does have Mariam's vocals on it as well.

[00:03:42] I don't know, you don't know, you don't know, you don't know, you don't know.

[00:03:47] What a weird like mixture of weirdness.

[00:03:52] It's so awkward.

[00:03:54] Like, I wonder what their contracts look like.

[00:03:56] Like if you leave, we get to keep your vocals, we'll take them off if we feel like it.

[00:03:59] Like, I don't know.

[00:04:00] Yeah, because I think once you've recorded it, it just belongs to the label so they can do whatever they want with it.

[00:04:04] Yeah.

[00:04:05] This is very true, but it's just so funny because they're like, well, we don't want you on it right now.

[00:04:09] So we're gonna re-record.

[00:04:09] You know what I'm saying?

[00:04:10] Like they pick and choose like, we don't have time.

[00:04:12] Keep it.

[00:04:14] But again, I guess that's just a testament to like, it's a good thing that we do have Selena as our lead because she was not, she was the one that stayed that was singing the leads.

[00:04:24] If she left, then maybe like, it would have been like, oh crap, we have to replace the whole thing with the other ones.

[00:04:29] Not calling them the other ones because I don't care about them, but that's how they were treated.

[00:04:32] The other ones, replaceable.

[00:04:34] So, um, just speaking about the song though, Shaznais Lewis' mark on UK Pop is so real.

[00:04:41] That spoken intro was so never ever.

[00:04:43] Um, the top line of the song isn't terrible, but like the, the whole guitar driven R&B ting was just overplayed for them.

[00:04:52] Like it was like kind of just flirting with the idea of being R&B, honestly, with these ballads, but let's just call it what it is, like an R&B thing.

[00:04:58] Like for all the trend hopping that this label was doing for them, I feel like the Sound Minds remix version would have been so much of a better option because again, the top line is good.

[00:05:10] It's good enough for me to listen to and be like, okay, I want to sing along to this.

[00:05:14] It's just sometimes the production is just, it's for the snails.

[00:05:17] Sometimes it's for the snails.

[00:05:18] And if you don't know what that means, that means you're too slow or boring, but it's just for the snails.

[00:05:22] And I was like, they deserve something better.

[00:05:24] And that remix I mentioned was one of those.

[00:05:26] The B side, Why You Want to Allow Me was interesting.

[00:05:28] Like, it just sounds like Agrabah.

[00:05:31] It was a little bit cooler.

[00:05:32] You know, I just feel like the label was playing with the girls.

[00:05:35] It's sonically different.

[00:05:36] You can hear the other girls singing.

[00:05:38] It could have been a better single.

[00:05:41] Yeah.

[00:05:41] I mean, I feel like probably the failure of not even going to trip probably freaked everyone out.

[00:05:47] And they were like, oh gosh, bring them back to the, you know, the mid tempo, you know, cheesy stuff that they had charted better.

[00:05:56] That's at least what this feels like.

[00:05:59] And you're, I think you're right with the Sound Minds remix because Selena also said that, I guess the original version that they had recorded was much cooler.

[00:06:07] And then when they heard the final one, they were like, what is this?

[00:06:12] Basically.

[00:06:13] Exactly.

[00:06:13] And I think people, at least fans were guessing that the original version was closer to the sound.

[00:06:19] If it wasn't the Sound Minds version, it was closer to the Sound Minds version, which I agree.

[00:06:23] It has like a UK garage thing going on.

[00:06:25] Yeah.

[00:06:26] Way cooler.

[00:06:27] Because again, of course, these lyrics are quite cheesy, but that having that kind of, you know, industrial sound just makes it so much more interesting.

[00:06:35] So yeah, I'm definitely not surprised that this flopped.

[00:06:38] I think even taking out the context of everything going on, like the fact that they were coming off, you know, a single that did not perform well.

[00:06:45] And there was all this like, you know, lineup drama.

[00:06:48] Yeah.

[00:06:48] The song itself is just okay.

[00:06:50] Like, I do think it's their worst single, like just listening through everything.

[00:06:54] It just does not stand out at all.

[00:06:56] I think that's just a weird choice.

[00:07:00] Yeah.

[00:07:01] Not great.

[00:07:01] Not the best.

[00:07:03] Yes.

[00:07:04] Oh, goodness.

[00:07:05] That's what happens.

[00:07:06] So, with the chart positions failing to impress their label and unresolved tensions between the members of the group, they knew that their future was in jeopardy.

[00:07:15] They planned to release the single Talk to the Hand in November 2001, with a music video even being circulated to all the major music channels.

[00:07:23] However, the single was never released and Mercury Records dropped the group and 86ed the album.

[00:07:30] Following the departure from management, the group officially split in 2003.

[00:07:40] Wow.

[00:07:40] That was quickly came and quickly went.

[00:07:43] Geez Louise.

[00:07:44] Yeah, it sucks, man.

[00:07:46] Yeah.

[00:07:47] Like, I...

[00:07:47] First off, let's just talk about Talk to the Hand because Talk to the Hand is so good.

[00:07:52] Yeah.

[00:07:52] It's so good.

[00:07:53] It's so annoying.

[00:07:54] Like, and this goes back to kind of what you were saying.

[00:07:57] It's like, why did they spend all this money making the music video and starting the promotions and then just not even release the song?

[00:08:04] Like, just as a fan, I would be so mad.

[00:08:08] Like, you did all this and we've already heard it.

[00:08:10] So just give us the song.

[00:08:11] Like, even if you're going to split them up, at least give us the last song, you know?

[00:08:16] Yeah.

[00:08:16] And I assume, I mean, unless manufacturing back then was like super quick.

[00:08:21] Mm.

[00:08:21] Like, that's kind of crazy if they didn't already, you know, start printing these single CDs.

[00:08:26] Yeah.

[00:08:26] These CD singles anyway.

[00:08:28] But, you know, maybe they just knew it was going to flop.

[00:08:31] So they just wanted to kind of stop it before it happened.

[00:08:34] Maybe.

[00:08:35] I guess.

[00:08:35] They were like, you know what?

[00:08:37] It's better to drop them than keep them.

[00:08:41] Yeah.

[00:08:41] You know?

[00:08:42] I guess.

[00:08:43] But yeah, it is a shame.

[00:08:44] I think the song is great.

[00:08:45] It sounds like something like Danny D. Cain could have released.

[00:08:48] You know, because there's a sass to it, but there's also like a juvenile kind of like...

[00:08:53] Mm.

[00:08:54] Mm.

[00:08:55] Like a playfulness to it, where it's also just like kind of stupid, you know?

[00:08:59] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:08:59] But in a good way, in a good way.

[00:09:01] Harmony helps, too.

[00:09:01] Harmony makes it feel very like Danny D. Cain.

[00:09:03] Oh, yeah.

[00:09:04] Fun fact.

[00:09:05] I was looking at the Genius credits.

[00:09:06] Come on, Genius.

[00:09:07] And one of the background singers is Miss Heidi Range, who would later join the Sugar Babes.

[00:09:12] Another group played with lineup changes.

[00:09:15] We love that.

[00:09:17] Yes.

[00:09:18] But no, that's so cool that she actually is credited there.

[00:09:20] Yeah.

[00:09:21] I think the song came too late.

[00:09:22] It sucks.

[00:09:23] It did.

[00:09:23] It's so good.

[00:09:24] Yeah.

[00:09:25] I've been listening to it a lot.

[00:09:26] It sucks that it came out so late.

[00:09:28] Not the song sucks.

[00:09:29] I'm sorry, that sentence was weird.

[00:09:30] But it sucks that the song came out at this point.

[00:09:33] Because it's not fair, but people have already checked out on them.

[00:09:36] Like checked out, you know?

[00:09:37] And then the group, the company has checked out as well.

[00:09:40] The song is so full.

[00:09:41] Like, talk to the face, talk to the hand, cause the face ain't Miss Dan.

[00:09:44] You know, between this song and...

[00:09:47] Won't Take It Lying Down, it sounds like a Bardot tracks.

[00:09:49] I'm not sure if anyone listening currently is Bardot fans, but definitely Won't Take It Lying Down sounds like a Bardot track.

[00:09:57] But this one is just, it does also remind me of Danny Kane as you said it.

[00:10:01] But yeah, it's just because like talk to the hand is just so, so silly, so juvenile.

[00:10:07] You know?

[00:10:08] And then I think it's fun though.

[00:10:11] It's still fun.

[00:10:11] So fun.

[00:10:12] It's sassy.

[00:10:13] It's funky.

[00:10:13] And the talk box before the bridge, like it could have been a hit in my opinion.

[00:10:17] But then again, like I live in my mother's basement.

[00:10:19] But it doesn't mean I don't have ears.

[00:10:20] I have very good ears.

[00:10:22] And my ears are telling me this could have been a hit.

[00:10:24] The remixes are good too, especially the 8 Jam and the liquid ones.

[00:10:27] Yes, that's a full part too, too.

[00:10:29] The vocals are completely different.

[00:10:30] Yeah!

[00:10:31] Oh yeah!

[00:10:31] Yes, nice point.

[00:10:32] And I love the video.

[00:10:34] The video could have been iconic even.

[00:10:35] Like those mirrors?

[00:10:36] Yes.

[00:10:37] Hello?

[00:10:38] It's giving Game of Death.

[00:10:39] It was giving Try Again before Aaliyah did Try Again.

[00:10:42] Or maybe they copied it.

[00:10:43] I don't.

[00:10:43] I gotta look at the timeline.

[00:10:44] But the point is, the mirrors were in at the time, baby.

[00:10:47] Okay?

[00:10:48] And the men touching?

[00:10:49] We love that.

[00:10:50] Girl, Naima was in one guy's skin.

[00:10:52] I said, girl, you are selling it.

[00:10:53] I can see.

[00:10:54] Okay, I can see now.

[00:10:55] And one thing I will say about Naima, even though I can't really identify where her voice is,

[00:10:59] I could identify her in a dang video.

[00:11:01] Because one thing she's not gonna do is not give you looks.

[00:11:03] Not give you presents.

[00:11:04] So at least she wasn't just a brick on the stage.

[00:11:07] She just moved.

[00:11:08] She played her role.

[00:11:09] She did.

[00:11:09] Hell yeah.

[00:11:10] Yeah.

[00:11:11] So...

[00:11:12] Oh man, yeah.

[00:11:13] It just kinda sucks that they were just kinda dropped with no fanfare.

[00:11:17] So it sounds like they did just kinda gig a little bit.

[00:11:21] Yeah.

[00:11:21] You know, after they were dropped, but it just never kind of turned into anything.

[00:11:25] Ooh.

[00:11:25] You know, the dynamic would just never healed anyway.

[00:11:29] So I think everyone was over it.

[00:11:30] Like you mentioned that the fans weren't really there, that the label was kind of over it.

[00:11:34] But I feel like they, you know, just the dynamic was just...

[00:11:37] Yeah.

[00:11:38] It wasn't allowing itself to succeed either.

[00:11:41] Yeah.

[00:11:41] Yeah.

[00:11:42] You know what?

[00:11:43] I'm trying to figure out...

[00:11:44] I'm trying to figure out like, what was going on.

[00:11:49] Again, I think at this point we definitely need someone who was...

[00:11:53] George!

[00:11:53] Sweet George!

[00:11:54] Our producer George!

[00:11:55] Honey, what was going on at the time?

[00:11:56] Cause like, ugh!

[00:11:57] Potential was so there.

[00:11:59] Um, but yeah, shout out to the people who've held onto these music videos and all that stuff

[00:12:02] like that.

[00:12:03] Cause like the label seems to not give a flying F.

[00:12:05] So thank you to YouTube and the people who are actually getting this.

[00:12:08] Cause it could be, it could have been lost media.

[00:12:10] There's so many girl groups that get lost in the shuffle.

[00:12:11] Yes.

[00:12:12] You know?

[00:12:12] So yeah, let's, let's keep on going.

[00:12:16] Yes.

[00:12:16] So the unreleased second album, which was tentatively titled Harmony, has mostly leaked onto the

[00:12:21] internet and luckily Talk to the Hand is now available on all streaming services.

[00:12:28] So excited!

[00:12:29] Let's go!

[00:12:29] Let's go!

[00:12:30] Yes!

[00:12:31] Shout out to the fans who managed to get all their singles on streaming as well,

[00:12:36] like with all the remixes and stuff.

[00:12:38] Like, I love that they've been doing that for kind of these older legacy artists.

[00:12:43] Cause some of these B-sides and stuff, remixes are great.

[00:12:46] So yeah, it's good that at least everything's out there.

[00:12:49] Honestly, thank goodness.

[00:12:51] Cause boy again, it gets lost in the shuffle and it's like, oh my gosh, you're never going

[00:12:55] to see it again.

[00:12:56] So thank you to the drips.

[00:12:57] That's my name for you guys.

[00:12:58] Um, so yes.

[00:13:00] After a couple of years, there are some reunions, you know, which is nice.

[00:13:04] Um, in January, 2005, the original lineup of Selena, Heavenly and Nama appeared on the

[00:13:10] ITV singing contest, hit me baby one more time to perform finally found and make cover

[00:13:14] of Nickelback's How You Remind Me.

[00:13:16] Following this appearance, the group decided to reunite for gigs, but Nama did not want

[00:13:21] to continue.

[00:13:22] They recruited Candace, Selena's sister to complete the lineup.

[00:13:25] A year later in 2006, Heavenly left and was yet again replaced by Mariama.

[00:13:32] The group then continued to perform for a few more years.

[00:13:35] Wow.

[00:13:36] Even after they left the label that these lineup changes just wow.

[00:13:42] Okay.

[00:13:43] Well, first talking about hit me baby one more time.

[00:13:45] Yeah.

[00:13:46] Which after doing some research, cause I was like, what is this show?

[00:13:49] I guess they did actually ask kind of like older artists to come back and sing their

[00:13:54] biggest hits.

[00:13:54] And they also had to perform a more contemporary song.

[00:13:58] So that's like, that's the context.

[00:14:00] Yeah.

[00:14:01] So it's great that they got this opportunity.

[00:14:03] Um, I will say the performances were a bit rough.

[00:14:07] Mm-hmm.

[00:14:08] And you could tell, I don't know, you can tell the chemistry still isn't like fully there.

[00:14:13] Yes.

[00:14:13] Um, but you know, it's their first big TV performances, big TV performance in like five years, you

[00:14:19] know, or whatever.

[00:14:19] So, uh, that makes sense.

[00:14:22] Um, I will say you can hear Nama very, very clearly in the finally found harmonies for this

[00:14:28] one.

[00:14:28] Uh, and of course she does get a verse in the Nickelback cover, which just a weird choice

[00:14:35] for them to do that.

[00:14:36] I mean, maybe they'd like, you know, rock music, but I just feel like they should have

[00:14:41] chosen something that maybe would have made them seem a bit more, not necessarily just

[00:14:46] like viable as a more current act, but maybe someone that would just be more interested

[00:14:50] in your back catalog.

[00:14:51] So you could just get a few more album sales out of it.

[00:14:53] You know, like it was just such a weird.

[00:14:55] It was weird.

[00:14:56] Yeah.

[00:14:57] Yeah.

[00:14:58] Yeah.

[00:14:58] Yeah.

[00:15:00] God, you know, I hate these comeback shows.

[00:15:04] They're like, I don't hate them, but I hate when the comeback shows like Shaft, the artists

[00:15:08] they brought up.

[00:15:09] Cause why is that?

[00:15:11] I know they have a list of songs they've cleared.

[00:15:13] Why was that?

[00:15:15] Why was that the one that y'all chose?

[00:15:16] Maybe they chose it.

[00:15:17] Maybe the show chose it from them, but it doesn't make sense.

[00:15:20] Like I have no qualms against Nickelback, but it does not make sense for a girl group

[00:15:23] to cover a rock band.

[00:15:25] No matter how popular the freaking song is.

[00:15:27] Unless it's going to be like a whole new, like, like, like all saints covering red hot

[00:15:33] chili peppers.

[00:15:33] Oh yeah.

[00:15:34] Okay.

[00:15:35] That sounded completely different.

[00:15:36] This?

[00:15:37] No, no, it's not fair.

[00:15:39] And I love reading the comments cause people were shading everyone, shading everyone except

[00:15:44] Naima.

[00:15:45] Not saying that Naima doesn't deserve the love, but someone was like, I read one of the comments

[00:15:49] for, um, the, uh, finally found video where Naima's barely singing, just singing harmonies.

[00:15:53] And someone was like, the one, the black dress is the best.

[00:15:56] I was like, dang, not saying that she didn't look good.

[00:16:00] Cause again, what she's not going to do is play herself.

[00:16:02] She looks good, but it's just like, I mean, I heard Selena sour note and I get it.

[00:16:07] You're probably just like, I need a saving grace.

[00:16:10] But I was like, not the one in the black dress.

[00:16:12] Dang.

[00:16:13] That means somebody who did not know who this group was still missed out.

[00:16:17] Piss me off.

[00:16:18] God dang it.

[00:16:19] Oh, that made me mad too.

[00:16:21] Again, Nickelback was not a choice.

[00:16:22] There's so many other pop songs they could have done at this point.

[00:16:24] It's 2000 and freaking it's 2000 something.

[00:16:28] Right?

[00:16:28] 2005.

[00:16:28] Yeah.

[00:16:29] It's 2005.

[00:16:31] It's how many songs have passed.

[00:16:33] And you pick this one.

[00:16:34] You could even song hit me baby one more time at this point.

[00:16:36] I mean, you're right.

[00:16:37] Maybe they only cleared like three songs and this is like, they're only good choice.

[00:16:40] You know?

[00:16:42] A mess.

[00:16:43] They're like, you can sing Kelly Clarkson.

[00:16:45] Oh yeah.

[00:16:45] Right, right, right.

[00:16:46] They're like, uh, oh man.

[00:16:50] Okay.

[00:16:50] So in an interview with digital spy in 2009, Selena insisted that there was zero chance of

[00:16:57] honey's getting back together.

[00:17:00] However, in October, 2012, honey's joined at the big reunion show with atomic kitten,

[00:17:06] Liberty X, Bewitched 5, 9-1-1, and blue.

[00:17:10] Mm-hmm.

[00:17:10] And since NEMA did not want to return, the group debuted a new lineup with Heavenly and

[00:17:15] Mariama being the lineup together for the very first time.

[00:17:20] Yeah.

[00:17:20] So the documentary series allowed the group a chance to discuss everything that happened

[00:17:24] over the years.

[00:17:25] And they also got to perform together at the Hammersmith Apollo and on the Big Reunion Arena

[00:17:30] Tour.

[00:17:36] Following the tour, the group teased new material, including a song called The Price You Pay,

[00:17:42] but it was never ultimately released.

[00:17:44] Mm-hmm.

[00:17:44] And in July 2014, Heavenly decided to quit again and Selena and Mariama continued performing as

[00:17:51] a duo.

[00:17:53] Okay.

[00:17:55] So we actually watched the big reunion concert together.

[00:17:59] Yes, we did.

[00:17:59] What a fun ride.

[00:18:01] Yes.

[00:18:02] Yes.

[00:18:02] So what did you think of their appearance?

[00:18:05] Can I tell you, beyond the singing, the reunion meetup was so awkward because like you

[00:18:10] have Mariama like, honey, I had nothing to do with nothing.

[00:18:17] And then Heavenly and Selena talking it out.

[00:18:21] And Mariama's just sitting there like, you know, she, what can she say and do?

[00:18:27] Because let's be real here.

[00:18:28] Out of everyone that we know of, no one's complained about her.

[00:18:32] No.

[00:18:32] No one's complained about her.

[00:18:33] No one has any issues with her except maybe Nama, but she didn't really come out

[00:18:37] and like sully anyone else's name.

[00:18:39] She could have.

[00:18:39] That girl has seen some things.

[00:18:41] I'm pretty sure.

[00:18:41] Because for her to stay that long too, I can only imagine what she's been through.

[00:18:45] Right?

[00:18:47] So I'm glad Heavenly and Selena were able to like talk their issues out.

[00:18:52] But it was kind of heartbreaking because Selena had mentioned like, now I have kids.

[00:18:56] Like the stakes are different.

[00:18:57] Like you doing this in and out kind of dip, dive, duck, dog situation is not okay because

[00:19:02] it's like, I have people to support.

[00:19:04] So I was like, oof.

[00:19:06] But watching the performances were interesting.

[00:19:08] They only get like what, two weeks to do all this.

[00:19:10] Right?

[00:19:10] Yeah.

[00:19:11] So for what they had, I respected ish.

[00:19:14] Which it's so funny.

[00:19:16] It's not funny.

[00:19:17] It's interesting to kind of see the, the way how years have treated them because the

[00:19:21] one who was singing the most, obviously the pressure is high for her cause she is singing

[00:19:26] the most.

[00:19:27] Um, but she wasn't, she didn't keep up with her, her vocals.

[00:19:31] Yeah.

[00:19:32] You know, at the time.

[00:19:33] Um, obviously now like she's been singing and performing.

[00:19:36] So she, obviously there's probably more of like a, a need and an understanding like,

[00:19:39] Hey, I need to keep doing this.

[00:19:40] Cause at any point in time I need to step up as the lead singer as this group, but you

[00:19:44] could tell that time had passed and you know, she was living her life and it wasn't

[00:19:49] as fluid as it had been in the past.

[00:19:52] Right?

[00:19:52] Which is not terrible cause she's one of the few people on top of the pops who was

[00:19:55] like, turn my mic on.

[00:19:56] So, um, heavenly was hilarious.

[00:19:59] She was giving me auntie vibes the whole time, but I'm living for her.

[00:20:02] She was happy to be there.

[00:20:04] Um, it was fun to watch.

[00:20:06] Um, it wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be.

[00:20:09] Not as painful as hit me baby.

[00:20:10] I will say that.

[00:20:11] Yes.

[00:20:11] You know?

[00:20:12] Yeah.

[00:20:13] I mean, I think this lineup is actually great.

[00:20:16] The best one.

[00:20:17] Yeah.

[00:20:18] Sorry, Neymah, but it's true.

[00:20:20] Like I think hearing the vocal dynamic and you know, Mariyama got to sing a verse on

[00:20:24] Finally Found.

[00:20:25] Yes.

[00:20:26] Her and Heavenly did the bridge of Won't Take It Lying Down.

[00:20:30] Uh, you know, it's nice.

[00:20:32] It does add to the song when you get a few different kind of vocal textures and tones in

[00:20:36] there.

[00:20:38] Um, and Mariyama is a star.

[00:20:40] Yeah.

[00:20:41] You know?

[00:20:41] She left and became a midwife, right?

[00:20:43] Yeah.

[00:20:43] Yeah.

[00:20:44] And she came back and she, you know, she killed this performance.

[00:20:48] Yeah.

[00:20:49] Like the vocals were on point every, with every song and she, those dance routines looked very

[00:20:54] natural.

[00:20:55] Yes.

[00:20:56] And she did them.

[00:20:57] Yeah.

[00:20:57] Uh, so yeah, I have to shout her out.

[00:20:59] I thought she did an amazing job.

[00:21:00] And it's so funny looking back cause she was literally only there for two singles.

[00:21:03] Oh my God.

[00:21:04] I mean, yes, she recorded more.

[00:21:05] Yeah.

[00:21:06] Yeah.

[00:21:07] It's so funny.

[00:21:08] Um, you know, I just really feel for Selena.

[00:21:12] Like, cause I think I would be the Selena.

[00:21:15] Of a group.

[00:21:15] Yeah.

[00:21:16] I'd be a Mariyama.

[00:21:18] Like I'm in here, but if I feel something's wrong.

[00:21:22] Yeah.

[00:21:22] Yeah.

[00:21:23] Not just like, I want a man.

[00:21:24] I know if I have loyalty problems sometimes, which I feel like it's not as bad now that

[00:21:29] I'm older, but when I was younger, you know, I definitely felt loyalty.

[00:21:34] Yeah.

[00:21:34] To a fault.

[00:21:34] I felt loyalty was like such an important value and I would like sacrifice my own happiness

[00:21:40] for that loyalty sometimes.

[00:21:42] Right.

[00:21:42] Oh.

[00:21:42] And so I would, I just feel for Selena just like in my soul cause I would totally be her

[00:21:47] and just, just hearing about this whole experience of her just trying to keep this group together

[00:21:52] and all these opportunities that she lost and just the potential that was there.

[00:21:57] And then she gets, you know, this opportunity to kind of do it again and do it kind of on her terms

[00:22:04] and just have fun singing the songs.

[00:22:07] Yes.

[00:22:08] From, you know, from your discography.

[00:22:10] So, so I just, yeah, I think I just really feel for her.

[00:22:14] Yeah.

[00:22:14] She deserved that moment for sure.

[00:22:16] I'm glad, you know, kind of just probably a little fire underneath her.

[00:22:19] Mm-hmm.

[00:22:20] Like it's.

[00:22:20] And you know, Heavenly, yeah, she was definitely, she just looked very happy being there.

[00:22:25] Yes.

[00:22:25] Yes.

[00:22:25] You know, she definitely does not have much loyalty clearly because, you know, then she

[00:22:29] left again like a few years later.

[00:22:32] I was reading about it a bit more though.

[00:22:35] And, you know, people said she, you know, she didn't actually live in the UK.

[00:22:37] She lived in Portugal.

[00:22:39] So, you know.

[00:22:40] And of course they were.

[00:22:41] That she had R.A. apparently.

[00:22:42] And she was.

[00:22:43] She has rheumatoid arthritis apparently.

[00:22:45] Oh, wow.

[00:22:46] Yeah.

[00:22:47] So there's some other things.

[00:22:48] There are other factors.

[00:22:49] There are other factors.

[00:22:49] Yes, yes.

[00:22:50] Plus, you know, if they're talking about new music but they're independent and that's

[00:22:53] money you have to put forward, you know, maybe she just didn't feel comfortable about that.

[00:22:58] Mm-hmm.

[00:22:58] But it does sound like she didn't, again, the communication was not good because, you know,

[00:23:03] apparently she didn't leave on good terms.

[00:23:05] Right.

[00:23:06] Yeah.

[00:23:07] So it was just, it happened again.

[00:23:10] Oh, God.

[00:23:11] Oh, yeah.

[00:23:11] But again, I'm a Mariam.

[00:23:13] I'll come back if the conditions are good.

[00:23:15] Yeah.

[00:23:16] Like, I'm a comebacker.

[00:23:17] I'm a comebacker.

[00:23:18] I'm a comebacker.

[00:23:19] Oh, gosh.

[00:23:21] That's so funny.

[00:23:22] Okay.

[00:23:23] So in November 2015, Selena and Mariam released their first new single in more than a decade.

[00:23:29] Definitely Something, which they also added to their set lists for their gigs.

[00:23:35] And if it's good.

[00:23:42] Uh, so apparently, and again, I read this just like on a forum somewhere, so please correct

[00:23:48] me if I'm wrong, but apparently they were supposed to actually record this with Heavenly and she

[00:23:52] just like didn't show up to the studio.

[00:23:54] Oh!

[00:23:55] Jesus.

[00:23:56] Oh, sorry.

[00:23:57] Not again!

[00:23:59] Yeah.

[00:23:59] You see, I'm not that type.

[00:24:00] I'm not that type.

[00:24:01] Right.

[00:24:01] I'll stick it out with people.

[00:24:03] Even if I'm like, this is like a sinking ship.

[00:24:04] You'll fulfill your commitment.

[00:24:06] Right!

[00:24:07] Yeah.

[00:24:07] I'm a pirate to the end.

[00:24:09] Um, dude, what the heck?

[00:24:12] Yeah.

[00:24:13] So that's why I guess the release was delayed.

[00:24:15] Yeah.

[00:24:16] And then, um, I don't know what their like promotional plans and stuff were, but I guess

[00:24:20] it just didn't do what they wanted it to do commercially.

[00:24:24] So, so yeah.

[00:24:25] So what do you think of Definitely Something?

[00:24:27] Cause it's definitely-

[00:24:28] Something.

[00:24:29] Something.

[00:24:29] Yeah.

[00:24:30] I mean, I just feel like it's a little out of their wheelhouse in terms of like what they

[00:24:33] sound like.

[00:24:34] And it just sounds like it was tracing, chasing the trend of songs.

[00:24:38] It's not bad, the song itself, but it's not like, wow, the production is good, but they're

[00:24:44] not known for this.

[00:24:46] Right.

[00:24:46] So it just feels like, oh, I don't like that.

[00:24:50] It's like, whoa.

[00:24:51] It's so frustrating.

[00:24:52] It's a bit bizarre.

[00:24:53] Yeah.

[00:24:54] It's a bit bizarre.

[00:24:55] Cause it is just like, what made you all think that a dance song would be the right

[00:25:00] move?

[00:25:01] That's not your bag.

[00:25:02] I'm not saying you can't do it, but you know what?

[00:25:05] You could have done like a UK garage.

[00:25:07] You could have done a dance-y kind of track that tied more into what was happening with

[00:25:12] your country's version of dance.

[00:25:14] Not like the whole, like the DJ apocalypse that happened during this time.

[00:25:19] You know what I'm saying?

[00:25:21] But I mean, I guess I thought that'd be like the right thing to do.

[00:25:24] Cause the DJ apocalypse was what was happening.

[00:25:26] Yeah.

[00:25:27] I'm not saying the DJ apocalypse is terrible.

[00:25:28] I love going to a nice little rave here and there.

[00:25:30] EDM, boop, boop, boop.

[00:25:33] But after a while, it's like, this is not helping them.

[00:25:36] They're going to get thrown into the shuffle of other EDM boots and cats and boots and cats

[00:25:40] beats.

[00:25:41] You know what I'm saying?

[00:25:41] So the vocal distribution of the song is way better though.

[00:25:46] Like I love, I love hearing two different tones.

[00:25:49] Like give Selena a break.

[00:25:50] Not only that, but like, let the listener hear somebody else in the group.

[00:25:54] Otherwise just go solo.

[00:25:55] I mean, they also sound great too.

[00:25:57] They do.

[00:25:57] Like I'm not taking anything away from their execution.

[00:25:59] They sang it really well.

[00:26:01] Yes.

[00:26:01] I just don't really get it.

[00:26:02] Just business wise.

[00:26:04] Like why they thought this was the right thing to do.

[00:26:07] Yeah.

[00:26:07] That made no sense.

[00:26:08] No sense.

[00:26:09] But you know what?

[00:26:10] It's good that those two made the songs together because obviously you can tell who

[00:26:13] could like, not like not saying name of could not sing and heavenly could not

[00:26:17] sing as well.

[00:26:17] But considering that those two are the ones Selena and Mariama that were, they're the ones

[00:26:23] that were shouting out a little bit more now, especially in the latter half of their

[00:26:26] career.

[00:26:26] It's good that they have the two songs together and then they decided to perform together

[00:26:30] because obviously they're both still singing.

[00:26:32] Even when you saw them, they were singing.

[00:26:34] So it was good that it was those two and not Neymah because she really wasn't really

[00:26:39] present on the verses or anything other than the sub vocal.

[00:26:42] So I think it worked out in its own way and allowed for more, like you said, sonic depth

[00:26:47] in their discography.

[00:26:49] So yeah, over the past decade, like we mentioned, Selena and Mariama continue to do gigs around

[00:26:54] the UK and also appeared on various television shows.

[00:26:57] The members also took part in a few competitions with Selena auditioning for Britain's Got Talent

[00:27:02] with her MJ impersonator partner and most recently, Mariama auditioning for The Voice

[00:27:07] UK.

[00:27:08] Yes.

[00:27:09] So in the summer of 2023, the duo got in touch with Heavenly yet again and they teased upcoming

[00:27:17] plans for the 25th anniversary.

[00:27:20] And Selena did note that she had reached out to Neymah, but she was uninterested in joining

[00:27:25] the reunion.

[00:27:25] And in October, 2024 fans were very surprised when Honeys announced that the group's lineup

[00:27:33] had changed yet again.

[00:27:35] With Mariama leaving and Selena's sister Candice, now known as Candy, rejoining, making the lineup

[00:27:44] Selena, Candy and Heavenly.

[00:27:46] And the group has since performed at various gigs and have teased more activities in 2025,

[00:27:53] including performing with a live band and new music.

[00:27:57] Mm hmm.

[00:27:58] Yep.

[00:27:59] Yeah.

[00:27:59] Mm hmm.

[00:28:00] That was a lot.

[00:28:02] No, it's fine.

[00:28:02] But my response to all of this is always going to be mm hmm.

[00:28:05] So.

[00:28:06] So quick little update on Neymah.

[00:28:08] She is on Instagram.

[00:28:11] If you guys are.

[00:28:12] Okay.

[00:28:12] She's living her life.

[00:28:13] She's living very peacefully.

[00:28:14] She considers herself a co-founder of the girl group Honeys and has listed her last,

[00:28:19] you know, her last year with them as 2005.

[00:28:21] So she is a mother as well.

[00:28:23] Now she's living her life, minding her business, drinking her water and minding her business.

[00:28:26] She's living her life.

[00:28:27] Hey guys.

[00:28:28] Um, so she's fine.

[00:28:30] I can understand her not wanting to come back because eventually like if word comes

[00:28:34] back to me that y'all didn't really appreciate my presence and I was creating issues and apparently

[00:28:37] I messed around and was flirting with someone's boyfriend.

[00:28:40] Yeah.

[00:28:40] I wouldn't want to come back either because either the dynamics is going to be one of

[00:28:43] those like awkward thing where someone else leaves is going to be my fault again,

[00:28:47] or y'all going to make me feel like I don't, I shouldn't be there.

[00:28:50] So it was not worth it just for the sake of optics.

[00:28:52] So respect on her decision.

[00:28:53] I'm not saying that that was their intention, but considering the track record with the

[00:28:58] ins and outs, it seems like a viable option.

[00:29:01] Um, um, shout out to the rest of the members trying to make it work.

[00:29:06] Uh, I can understand Mariana being like, Hey, listen, this is not working for me.

[00:29:09] Cause like at this point it is kind of like a reboot, like, you know, the movie reboots

[00:29:14] is like, okay, stop with the reboots.

[00:29:15] You don't need a live action of, of this movie.

[00:29:17] That's what it's giving now.

[00:29:19] Like at first it was a cute little, you know, Saturday morning cartoon, but now it's a live

[00:29:22] action movie that is just taking too much of a form that I don't think she wants to be a part of.

[00:29:26] Um, and I can't say that I blame her because again, again, I don't think the dynamics are suitable for just her more than just her and, um, Selena.

[00:29:38] Hmm.

[00:29:38] I feel like the two of them worked because the two of them sing or saying or whatever.

[00:29:44] Now with heavenly, I don't know if she's singing as much with candy.

[00:29:48] I know that candy and Selena had like a little bit of a duo thing going on when Selena went solo.

[00:29:52] So I guess that makes sense.

[00:29:54] Like if anything should happen to heavenly, at least Selena has candy, you know what I'm saying?

[00:29:57] So it's just like, yeah, I mean, shout out to candy.

[00:30:00] Cause she, you know, she's also been in various iterations, you know, filling in for gigs and stuff.

[00:30:06] Oh, it's, it's tough.

[00:30:07] It's tough to get thrown in that situation.

[00:30:08] So I'm not like, you know, trying to be mean to anybody, but it is, it is the dynamic is not great in the group.

[00:30:15] And I can understand my arm. I'm not wanting to come back.

[00:30:17] I understand now that Selena has a little bit of a safety net in her sister as well.

[00:30:21] That's family unless something crazy happens and in heavenly, she can come and go as she pleases with the understanding that, Hey, this, I'm an older, sorry.

[00:30:28] I'm an older woman now.

[00:30:30] And I do have RA.

[00:30:31] So if I do leave everyone, you'll know what it is.

[00:30:33] But for now I'm excited to be here.

[00:30:35] I'm willing to participate.

[00:30:36] Don't know what the elements were that made her stay, but she's willing to be in it now.

[00:30:40] I think they look good as a trio.

[00:30:43] Um, you know, I'm, I'm curious to hear what it's going to sound like.

[00:30:47] Cause like, yeah, either is going to sound like karaoke AC music.

[00:30:52] Like, you know, where they kind of phoning in the, like, think about rocket by invoke.

[00:30:56] That's one of their worst freaking songs.

[00:30:57] Oh Lord.

[00:30:58] Yes.

[00:30:59] Terrible.

[00:30:59] You know what I'm saying?

[00:31:00] Like, I'm hoping it's not like that.

[00:31:03] Love y'all, but that sounds terrible.

[00:31:05] Um, I'm hoping it's not like that.

[00:31:07] So.

[00:31:08] I hope things are good.

[00:31:10] Um, it just sucks that they, again, they're unsung.

[00:31:13] Like it just sucks that they didn't really reach your full potential for sure.

[00:31:17] Yeah.

[00:31:17] Well, I guess going back to kind of the duo lineup, as you mentioned, I did see Selena and

[00:31:22] Mariyama perform as a duo and they did do, you know, a couple of tracks and it was good.

[00:31:28] You know, they did balance out the vocals a bit more.

[00:31:31] Yeah.

[00:31:31] Like Mariyama saying more of the verses and stuff, which was good.

[00:31:35] Um, and you know, looking at the voice again, I read this just on a fan thing, but I don't

[00:31:41] know how true this is, but apparently there are rumors that Selena had no idea that, uh,

[00:31:48] uh, Mariyama was auditioning for the voice until their crew just kind of showed up to

[00:31:53] shoot like B roll at their gig.

[00:31:56] Um, and, um, I guess after that you could kind of tell that their relationship was strained.

[00:32:01] Um, so that may be another layer as to why Mariyama is no longer in it.

[00:32:07] Thanks for that insight.

[00:32:08] But going back to what you were saying, it's also possible, you know, I think is Mariyama

[00:32:13] still a practicing midwife?

[00:32:15] Cause if she is, she might be.

[00:32:17] Yeah.

[00:32:18] Maybe she was happy doing like these random pride gigs and, you know, nostalgia gigs every

[00:32:22] once in a while, then maybe their plans for next year are more robust than that.

[00:32:26] And it's just something that she cannot commit to.

[00:32:28] That's totally possible too.

[00:32:30] Right.

[00:32:31] Cause if it's going to be this whole 25th anniversary thing where they're going to do

[00:32:34] a bit more, uh, then maybe Mariyama just doesn't have the time for that.

[00:32:38] Hmm.

[00:32:39] So I don't know.

[00:32:41] Um, I just, you know what?

[00:32:42] Good for Selena for, you know, putting her trust in heavenly again.

[00:32:46] Cause I think if it were me, I don't think I could ever trust her enough for

[00:32:52] to make any commitments with her again after all of this.

[00:32:56] Yeah.

[00:32:56] Yeah.

[00:32:57] Um, but you know, I assume this was discussed and she's here for whatever they've at least

[00:33:04] agreed to, you know, at this point.

[00:33:07] Oh, and yeah, you know, they put up some clips, uh, of the, of this new lineup performing

[00:33:12] and you know, it looks fun.

[00:33:15] You know, they, they perform not even going to trip, I guess, for the first time since,

[00:33:18] you know, it was released.

[00:33:19] So, and yeah, they tease, like I mentioned a live band, like rehearsing with the live

[00:33:24] band, you know, we love.

[00:33:26] Uh, so I assume if they have that, that there's, you know, a lot more coming.

[00:33:31] Yeah.

[00:33:32] Yeah.

[00:33:32] So they have some things planned up and lined up, um, which is good.

[00:33:36] So that's exciting.

[00:33:37] Yeah.

[00:33:37] I mean, I do hope that they, cause this kind of like nostalgic R and B nineties thing

[00:33:43] is obviously so trendy right now.

[00:33:45] Yes.

[00:33:45] So they should totally just, just lean into it.

[00:33:48] That's what I was saying.

[00:33:49] Just lean into that.

[00:33:50] Capitalize for sure.

[00:33:51] For sure.

[00:33:52] Um, but yeah, I mean, wasn't, um, Selena and Mariam was like last performance.

[00:33:57] Like was like the summer or they canceled it.

[00:33:59] Yeah.

[00:33:59] It was like a few months ago.

[00:34:00] Oh, interesting.

[00:34:01] So she auditioned for the voice and they kind of like did like that last who raw thing

[00:34:04] and then.

[00:34:04] Yeah.

[00:34:05] And they had a few more commitments, I guess, after the voice.

[00:34:07] Yeah.

[00:34:08] Oh, goodness.

[00:34:08] Oh, that's awkward.

[00:34:09] Okay.

[00:34:09] Well, you know, I sound like Donald Doug.

[00:34:12] Um, also though, speaking of the voice, actually, Mariamma sounded very good.

[00:34:17] Yes, she did.

[00:34:17] I was quite impressed.

[00:34:18] Yes.

[00:34:19] Same, same.

[00:34:20] She's again, she's, she's got it.

[00:34:22] Yeah.

[00:34:22] You hear it.

[00:34:22] But yes, it's unfortunate that the honeys didn't really lean into, I feel like their

[00:34:26] name was just slept on.

[00:34:28] Like you're called the honeys.

[00:34:29] Like give me hottie at energy.

[00:34:31] But unfortunately like their music was giving sweeties.

[00:34:34] Right.

[00:34:34] That's just saying they visually looked like what you'd want the honeys to do.

[00:34:39] Yes.

[00:34:40] Yeah.

[00:34:40] Oh God.

[00:34:41] Hopefully they get, if y'all gonna come back, look at me.

[00:34:44] If y'all gonna look at me.

[00:34:45] If you're gonna come back, honeys, you better give us something hot, honey.

[00:34:49] Give us something hot.

[00:34:51] And also the sound of the UK garage sound is hot right now too.

[00:34:54] Like tap into the sounds that you guys could have tapped into.

[00:34:57] I don't know how many years ago.

[00:34:58] Mm-hmm.

[00:34:59] And let's make it art.

[00:35:00] Let's make it work.

[00:35:00] Okay.

[00:35:01] Honestly, re-record that Love to Love You baby cover and release that.

[00:35:05] I'm here for that.

[00:35:06] How much is that clearance?

[00:35:06] How much is that?

[00:35:07] I don't know.

[00:35:08] Oh my God.

[00:35:10] Very ambitious, but respect.

[00:35:11] He's right.

[00:35:12] He's right.

[00:35:13] Okay guys.

[00:35:14] Oh man.

[00:35:14] Okay.

[00:35:15] So we've caught up to where we are now in December, 2024.

[00:35:20] Yes.

[00:35:20] So let's see what happens next.

[00:35:22] You know, we'll definitely keep an eye out on what the honeys are up to.

[00:35:26] Yeah.

[00:35:27] And we're here.

[00:35:28] We're here for it, for sure.

[00:35:29] So before we dismiss you all from class, it is time for our discography highlights.

[00:35:36] Yeah.

[00:35:36] So this is where we like to highlight, you know, a B-side or an album track that maybe the general

[00:35:41] public does not know as well.

[00:35:43] Uh-huh.

[00:35:43] And so first up from our producer, George, who, as you mentioned earlier, did request

[00:35:48] Honeys as our episode topic.

[00:35:50] He would love to highlight the song, Just As I Am, which is a track from the unreleased

[00:35:56] second album, Harmony.

[00:35:58] Just as I am, myself to you.

[00:36:04] He says it's a beautiful ballad and Selena has also mentioned it as one of her favorites

[00:36:09] and one that she wishes was a single.

[00:36:12] Hmm.

[00:36:13] All right.

[00:36:14] So for me, I like good love.

[00:36:16] Good love.

[00:36:18] It's so hard.

[00:36:21] I feel like them going in that like almost American R&B, um, direction was good.

[00:36:28] Cause again, they look like a bunch of hot honeys.

[00:36:31] Like, so frustrating.

[00:36:33] But yeah, this song, uh, is, it was a good one to me.

[00:36:36] I feel like vocally it sounds really good.

[00:36:38] The way it was mixed was good.

[00:36:39] It just sounds like something I'm used to.

[00:36:40] And I think it would have been a better option.

[00:36:43] Cause yes, R&B does have ballads and I feel like they should have leaned into that a little

[00:36:47] bit more as they got a little bit older or at least older quote unquote as a group as

[00:36:52] time passed, you know?

[00:36:53] Yeah.

[00:36:54] That's a good one.

[00:36:55] That one does remind me of En Vogue with kind of the soulfulness of it.

[00:36:59] Yeah.

[00:37:00] Okay.

[00:37:00] So my choice is Why You Wanna Lie On Me, which was the B-side of I Don't Know.

[00:37:05] Why You Wanna Lie On Me?

[00:37:07] Did you say you'd wait for me?

[00:37:10] Said you'd love me.

[00:37:13] It's so good.

[00:37:14] It is.

[00:37:15] The song.

[00:37:16] I, I cannot believe they even like had it just as a B-side.

[00:37:20] Like this could have totally been a single for their second album.

[00:37:22] It could have launched the second album, you know?

[00:37:25] Wild.

[00:37:25] I was so surprised when I heard it because I just kind of shuffled their whole discographies.

[00:37:29] I didn't know like what was on what.

[00:37:30] Yeah.

[00:37:30] And so when I saw that it was just a B-side, I was like, what?

[00:37:33] Like, are you serious?

[00:37:35] Weird.

[00:37:35] But yeah, it's so cool.

[00:37:36] It's got the American R&B thing going on in the verses and then it turns into like

[00:37:40] a UK garage bop for the chorus.

[00:37:44] Wow.

[00:37:44] So yeah, definitely one that just stood out to me a lot and I really, really like it.

[00:37:48] Like I will for sure keep this on the playlists.

[00:37:52] Yeah.

[00:37:52] So when I come up to the hospital, oh my God, I know this one.

[00:37:54] Yeah.

[00:37:56] All right, y'all.

[00:37:57] If you are still here, I'm going to ask that you let us know what your favorite discography

[00:38:02] highlight song from Honey's is.

[00:38:05] If you have multiple, let us know as well because obviously if you're a fan or if you're

[00:38:09] even if you're not a fan and you've learned about them, they're interesting.

[00:38:12] They've had so much potential and they deserve the list.

[00:38:15] And so definitely drop those in the comments below.

[00:38:18] All right.

[00:38:19] But yeah, we are done.

[00:38:20] Class is dismissed.
