[00:00:00] Guess what they saw? Girls Aloud! Ah, the day! We're going to go section by section, costume by costume, track by track. Their first tour since 10 the hits tour in 2013 and it's also their first as a quartet
[00:01:06] following the passing of member Sarah Harding in 2021. And the girls have said that Sarah encouraged them to tour without her, but obviously it took some mourning and some time for them to actually feel comfortable to do that. But here we are! They do it! Yeah! They did it!
[00:01:23] It's well outside coming and luckily enough we got a one hour and 45 minute show and it was presented in three acts with an encore and featured the majority of the groups hit, some fan favorite album tracks, references and images from throughout the group's outstanding
[00:01:38] history and special moments showcasing some upstairs iconic lines and her distinctive voice. So both Chris and I went to the tour in Aberdeen, Scotland but Chris also went to tour the Sheldon and Glasgow so let's discuss every aspect of this sanitary show.
[00:01:57] Yeah and if you went to the show and your reviewer new or old or listener new or old definitely drop your fame, moments, songs and just memories of Grozellab in the console though. Okay guys let's get into it.
[00:02:12] So we're filming this about a week after we saw them and I still have not really even come down from the high. I mean the last show I went to was Sunday so it was like two days ago but honestly like even objectively this tour is the best
[00:02:31] one that I have been to of theirs like the energy was just super high the whole time and it's a very positive vibe at every show so yeah what an awesome moment. Oh yeah totally I mean this is my first time seeing them only watching via
[00:02:49] a DVD disc or YouTube clips. Yeah no this feels like a fresh kind of show in terms of I guess their energy it didn't feel like this stale tension filled that I happened to witness
[00:03:08] and the DVD the 10 DVD that you showed me and it didn't feel like they were like brand new especially after how many years have passed right it didn't feel like they were awkward so
[00:03:17] just to them being so prepared I will say but yeah I'm happy that I got a chance to see them I'm happy I'm sure a bunch of fans are happy that they thought to see them
[00:03:28] just even the glimpse to see them together in this new and their new I guess forms if you will their mothers lives there you know their career women and have all that put together like
[00:03:42] awesome like well goddess force if you will it was so cool kind of just to see them now in their womanhood and still being so good I was like oh y'all I'm an out lady they were not playing with us
[00:03:55] I'm crunk. Yes okay so before we even get into like the each song that they did what did you think of the overall stage set up kind of just the overall creative production of the show
[00:04:08] I thought it was very well done now I have not been to many like legacy artists pay on back shows like so I don't really have much frame of reference I mean you went to the Madonna
[00:04:21] show so you saw like the whole like history of her career and you got relevant moments in her her past and whatnot so it was nice to see that now it was really cool as someone who became a
[00:04:33] fan during what four years ago fighters ago to be able to witness everything and say oh my god I know that I know that video or I know that iconic set piece or I remember they were riding motorcycles or
[00:04:44] I remember the butterflies from biology things like that I think really stood out and they provided glimmers the opposite of triggers I found provided a lot of glimmers for myself
[00:04:55] and I'm pretty sure for other fans I will say I was a little bit worried about them not having a band but considering how full everything sounded I could let it slide I could let it pass and also
[00:05:06] in terms of like the ceilessness of the show I think it was still pretty tight they very polished I think Nicola you had mentioned that Nicola wanted that to mention that in a comment to a fan
[00:05:18] and I think they accomplished what they set out to do featuring Sarah in the show I'm going to get into it a little bit later but it was like having a having a like a lens over your face where you
[00:05:29] can see ghosts and this little angel is sitting in the corner and I was like perfectly done one of the better tributes I've seen with a lost member like with TLC they'll do certain things but I feel
[00:05:41] like this one was probably the best I've seen in terms of honoring a member of a group but K-pop doesn't do that they may leave like an open space but not like here's the vocals here's the
[00:05:52] visuals of this person so I appreciated everything that was done in the show for sure yeah what about you you see it three times now so you've got different perspectives different like yeah
[00:06:02] yeah for sure I mean just talking about some of the stuff you just said first I mean yeah I think Shinee maybe they did show Junghyun a little bit and in some of their shows but yeah even now it's
[00:06:12] more subtly done as well so yeah but the way that they actually just featured Sarah pretty much throughout the entire show was beautifully done I thought that was awesome and I think because
[00:06:22] they used her vocals throughout I think it probably actually was helpful that they didn't have a band yeah because I think you know it can get messy if you like have a track that you're playing to
[00:06:33] and if the vocal doesn't play or you know something so they did take out some variables just to make the show a bit smoother so you know I love a live band and I still think
[00:06:43] for certain songs because they do have very rocky songs yeah and it was kind of missed a little bit at times yeah but the show was slick so so I think they did a good job and they did put some live
[00:06:56] elements in the backing tracks as well there are some moments of guitar solos and live drums and stuff that weren't oh yes in the original songs so so yeah they did what they could without having
[00:07:06] a live band for sure regarding the stage I will say after the Spice Girls 2019 shows where it was also like an outer ring situation they did not have like the center catwalk that Girls Aloud did
[00:07:20] but the Spice Girls navigated that stage terribly dang uh they look like the center circle was what they said was for the super fans and was the most expensive ticket and the Spice Girls barely looked in in the pit like almost 80% of that show they faced outwards
[00:07:41] pretty much I would say good maybe 75% of the show so I was actually a little worried about the pit and I was like oh my gosh it's this situation again but shout out to Beth and all
[00:07:55] the other creative directors because they navigated the stage so well they gave every single corner of this venue as much attention as they could I would actually say there's no perfect seat or spot for this show because they're kind of everywhere the whole time and that's actually brilliant
[00:08:15] for sure so yeah I did actually experience the show from both the pits and the seats obviously I never from like super far away we were fourth row for our show then I was second row for my
[00:08:27] second show and then I did the left pit for my third show um and I will actually say I still think it's actually you enjoy the show the seats are better yeah to actually see the full
[00:08:40] picture with like the screens and everything um and the lighting and everything in the pits obviously it was a bunch of super fans so I had a lot of fun and the girls get really close to
[00:08:50] you and you do get a ton of attention from them kind of the entire time but I'm glad I did that last actually because I kind of already knew what was going on on the screens I kind of knew what they
[00:09:02] were doing when they were facing outwards and so I didn't feel like I was missing anything but I do think if I only went once and I was in the pit I would have been a little disappointed by it
[00:09:13] yeah so we made the right choice by buying those something kind of woo seats indeed yeah yeah um but yeah overall I think they did an amazing job like as a obviously I've been a huge fan like most of my life and they honored their legacy extremely well
[00:09:33] like like if this is the last thing they ever do and this is what is shown as kind of yes final thing this encompasses everything perfectly so great yeah the show was perfect so now we can get into the track by track section by section discussion
[00:09:53] all right so we have part one act one if you will because it is a show it's called the show so cut it out into acts um my goodness so I call this like the pink show girl act
[00:10:05] because what they were wearing was very reminiscent of like showgirls in Vegas but I liked that it was all customized to each girl's style and like silhouette love that the first act features untouchable show something new love machine can speak French
[00:10:20] biology and closes with whole lot of history all right now act one Chris uh I feel you remember because my mouth was wide open like the ghost emoji um yeah no I could feel as you moved
[00:10:34] me next to me and then that was it it was a blur yeah but man when I saw him on those podiums I was like I actually remember that because I turned to look at you and you literally were just
[00:10:46] mouth open completely still uh so yes uh I love that for you I also was I will say I am glad I went more than once because most of that first show I was a tad overwhelmed I would say
[00:11:00] and it flew by like it went by so fast and I don't even remember still like some aspects of but yes I actually did predict untouchable as the opener months ago uh I just had a weird feeling
[00:11:17] about it because I think everyone was like oh it's going to be the show it's going to be the show and I was like no but they've done that before yeah uh and then of course the imagery on um
[00:11:28] like the tour poster and stuff is them on those podiums so I was kind of like they're probably do that and so I kind of kind of predicted how it was going to open um and it was perfect like
[00:11:40] them opening with untouchable it's very different from anything they've ever done before because obviously it is like a very ethereal song yeah and the lyrics are like way more pointed now
[00:11:52] as well like even just the opening line like through wind and rain we got here yeah and then now they're untouchable you know yeah um so I can definitely see why this was kind of a divisive
[00:12:03] choice like some fans thought that it was kind of like a boring opener but I actually think it was super effective I can see how if you were not a fan and you didn't really know the song that you'd be like why is the song seven minutes long
[00:12:18] and they're not doing anything they're just like standing there uh but I think it actually set the tone very well because it was angelic then the second verse you get Sarah oh yeah kind of
[00:12:31] peeking through the curtain a little bit yeah and you have her vocals start playing along as well and so you kind of know that you're in a space that's also just honoring someone who's gone
[00:12:45] yeah yeah yeah so I loved it as an opener what did you think of it as a choice honestly considering how stupid I probably looked I think it's a good opener because it lets you
[00:12:54] instead of just smacking you in the face with like action I think it kind of allows for the for that kind of a better word the rising climax that happens when the song
[00:13:04] when the show actually does reach a crescendo of sorts you don't feel exhausted like this is I think it felt good and then coming from like my last big big western artist being Beyonce
[00:13:16] with her doing like dangerously and all that stuff like that I can appreciate the slower build up into the alright we're gonna put it in the microwave now we're gonna warm it up you know like that kind
[00:13:27] or whatever the frying pan whatever it takes you can do a good fire analogy I feel like starting it out slow is good because we are used to like a bam in your face bam we hit the stage it
[00:13:38] relax let things warm up there's a good preheat moment um once I did collect myself and remember to pull out the phone for memory sake once I remember to do all of that um I pull up
[00:13:52] the phone okay let me collect this for memory sake the angelic moments with Sarah's face speaking love that um I think throughout the opening it was nice to have I guess I'm on the podiums as
[00:14:07] opposed to them being in those little circular spaceships because you know because they could have done that because throughout the show there's a lot of remember this from the video so I appreciate them going for more of like a quote-unquote last year way of presenting themselves
[00:14:22] uh because once they came down that's when the party really started you can really appreciate like okay we've gotten past this like let's address the beautiful and angel in the room
[00:14:32] now we're going to give you the show you know I'm saying so I think introducing um Sarah's vocals and face an imagery rather in that first song was a good way to do it without suddenly being like
[00:14:47] with something new love the the usage of just her vocals for that take a walk on the wild side part but I feel like it wouldn't have been as like you know like oh my god she's here
[00:14:59] yes they had not done untouchable first because you see I think that element of having her face peeked through adds to that mystery um I think like I said once they came down it was just
[00:15:11] full scene ahead it was only about one slow song anyway so after that if you was like if you're still kind of just like well that wasn't a good intro then get over it shout out to
[00:15:20] the male dancers I finally came on stage with the ladies like the girls came down the the runway and I was like holy crap they're real because that untouchable them being so high up obviously goes
[00:15:32] with the song but it kind of makes you feel like who are they when they come down to the seat and they're stopping down the center it was epic shout out to when they finally get to something
[00:15:42] new um it was at Cheryl and Nadine harmonized with the I like it like that part like moments like that are so powerful and I've said before the girls were really dancers on our show
[00:15:54] yeah look at it earlier days it was just giving like okay one and two and three but honestly after years of performing I'll take that back I'll take it back they were dancing oh really
[00:16:05] yeah okay interesting I won't say I will say there was some secrecy the city issues but that's not me saying that they there's a passion issue there was passion yeah there was enthusiasm there was intention in the movement I feel like they sounded good they looked there was
[00:16:24] a little hiccups here and there um like Nadine forgetting to sing at one point but I would rather that and realize that the mic is on oh yeah them not you know actually singing um I think
[00:16:35] overall I appreciate the moments of Nicola taking on Sarah's part Kim also took on some notes as well and I really do appreciate them kind of being able to navigate the line distribution
[00:16:49] really gracefully um but yeah I think this first act was a good like hey remember us we're back but I feel like second half definitely looks like the more punchier more like
[00:17:03] in your face uh part of the show that probably is like highlight for me uh what about you what do you feel about like the costuming the the the songs the set list itself at this point I think the set
[00:17:15] list is was perfectly done because I agree with you the climax isn't until really like near the end yeah which was awesome because the whole thing just kind of builds up that way this section has more
[00:17:27] of the like slightly sillier like lighter kind of songs in there um and even looks like can't speak French and stuff like it's a it's just a little calmer than a lot of other stuff so yeah I
[00:17:41] think I think it was a great way to kind of build everything up I will say with the show I love all the new choreography that they had for sure and yeah that's where I was going to
[00:17:51] shout out Nicola I mean I would shout her out through a lot of this but she covered Sarah's ad libs so well yeah she sounded absolutely amazing I think I think I like I just like looked at you
[00:18:03] was like oh my god she's not amazing during that yeah um I will say one thing vocally all four sound so good the balance the mix everything is so much stronger than especially the tentor
[00:18:18] which was a complete mess vocally um but you know Cheryl's often underrated I think actually as a singer she's very very stable she has a really nice body to her voice there's a husk to it
[00:18:32] and she actually has good pitch I think she's been unlucky in the past in that a lot of the DVDs yeah like they were filmed on nights where she was sick yeah and I think she's also not as confident
[00:18:45] when she's solo yeah so the few examples that people always point to from her solo career where she doesn't sound her best they're like yeah she can't sing not fair but she sounded so good
[00:18:57] every night that I went um Nikola has found kind of the balance a lot more she was kind of screaming over everyone at in 10 and this time she chose her moments yeah well yeah yeah uh the Dean stable
[00:19:12] as always um extra sassy now as well it's just great and Kimberly like the musical training was clearly shining through here I have there's another highlight for me for her vocally that
[00:19:25] I'll speak about later but even just an untouchable like she it's it's just a lot more support yeah totally yeah um so then okay after that spiel going back to the show uh yeah something new
[00:19:41] that is such a highlight in this show because it's kind of insane how powerful it is when they storm down that catwalk like you said oh my god it's such a moment uh and Cheryl did notice us
[00:19:58] very early on because yeah during something new I'd like right at that first chorus like when they first stormed down I think because we were I mean of course you were going crazy but also we the
[00:20:09] crowd around us definitely was on the calmer side they were in Aberdeen I would say the crowd was a lot more lively in Glasgow and I think Glasgow is actually known for being one of the
[00:20:20] best audiences in the country uh so so yes I will say we had a very interesting um crowd around us but it actually helped us in a way because we stood out quite a lot and got a lot of attention from
[00:20:32] the girl yeah sorry yeah but yeah I remember I put them my notes too because I pointed at her I was like she's like yeah she pointed us out like immediately yeah because I think we were
[00:20:44] the only ones who were truly dancing you know yeah that that's at the start at least yeah going off yeah yeah um love machine love all the new horn forces that they put in there uh I did find it
[00:20:57] interesting though and I thought the same with the show um they're not doing as many harmonies this time around just in terms of the vocal arrangement to be fair Sarah used to actually
[00:21:08] do a lot of the harmonies but even the ones that they used to do like the love machine uh pre-chorus that Nichole and Kimberly used to kind of do together yeah um also the in the show
[00:21:20] like they don't even bother lip syncing that this time around yeah so that's just interesting as a choice to me uh I think it's just me as a crazy fan that you know would know just something like
[00:21:31] that but I did um with Can't Speak French love the staging of this I think in the past people have kind of been like they always kind of performed this the same way with like the
[00:21:41] partnering and stuff this time you know we got the fans and then we got the kind of the flamboyant male dancers versus the more like masculine leading dancers so I think they made the dynamic
[00:21:53] really fun this time around and there were more like orchestral moments in the track as well and then a whole lot of history was such a great way to end this first act yeah um it was
[00:22:07] such a just a great sing-along moment I will say this is one of those songs where being in the pit was kind of awesome uh because I got a lot of eye contacts from pretty much all four of them and they
[00:22:16] really throughout the whole show they did an amazing job with a fan interaction I have never seen them do it like that before where they really tried to give every single person in the pit
[00:22:27] at least yeah some some eye contacts like it was kind of amazing and then of course when we were in the seats like when they were on the end stage we got we got a lot as well
[00:22:36] but yeah that was I really respect that they they did that because a lot of artists don't give as much attention as as they did um right so right oh yeah yeah but then yeah the end of a whole
[00:22:48] lot of history with the way they transition into Sarah's outro was so beautiful yeah and you could just feel the energy change like in the room because it turns into kind of just this whole
[00:23:01] kind of dedication to Sarah as they kind of leave the stage and get ready for the next act um and yeah I people were crying around us and uh it was it was really beautiful I I appreciate
[00:23:17] the choice actually to like not do kind of real video interludes like just kind of leave it very kind of quiet each time she holds like she'll forget the bcr exactly yeah right on to two
[00:23:34] let me singing into the mic sorry y'all this is I too and this one it was the biker girls with the black in the silver uh you know man maybe I've
[00:23:46] but for my recollection I have never seen them do a tour since week me up has been out where they were actually on the bikes I remember looking at you know like yeah it's only been on
[00:24:00] like top of the pops that like one time maybe yeah yeah I had seen a picture of that so I didn't know this one was coming yeah oh yeah guys I had artfully dodged like I did the Beyonce show
[00:24:12] up artfully dodged all the girls love yeah good for you good for you I couldn't but I did a job I didn't really watch any full clips of anything there were a few like viral things that
[00:24:22] happened that I'll talk about later that I did see just because they were kind of everywhere and I saw it for kind of random photos and stuff but I did I did as well as I could
[00:24:33] not valid hey listen that's why you have good insight because you kind of know what the fans are talking about what was buzzing around you know yeah so yeah so this section they started with
[00:24:42] waking me up as you mentioned they did sound of the underground girl overboard no good advice graffiti my soul a long hot summer and I'll stand by you bro so what were the border cycles
[00:24:55] effective for you so I really like to pay attention to lighting in shows I think to my favorite lighting design has been be up has been uh Jenna Jackson's all for you tour in Hawaii yeah I use it
[00:25:11] thesis paper one time in all the school um the lighting for this one was so cool because like the way the they weren't um spotlights but it felt like spotlight but the way the lights were
[00:25:22] kind of swinging and felt like we're on a road with just crazy traffic there was purple clouds and lightning I felt like I was like I don't like senses back so I could actually appreciate
[00:25:33] what's happening but man I was really impressed with the design it's so simple but that's the thing about when you a thing about having iconic imagery throughout your career you don't
[00:25:44] have to do too much you just have to lean into it make a camp if you have to but lean into it go for it and just give the crowd what they want we recognize the bike we recognize the the the
[00:25:56] storm clouds behind there just give it to us right and they did that the only thing they didn't give us was the hair clips I kept flipping my hair that whole yeah never happened I
[00:26:05] think they were probably just too scared to move the motorcycles too much you got a few kind of near the end of the song exactly yeah I will say so I did see kind of just a very bad quality like from
[00:26:16] kind of one of the back sections um like a 10 second clip of them just kind of on the motorcycles I wasn't really sure if it kind of matched the energy of the song because they don't move very
[00:26:28] quickly you know so it's just kind of like you took this song that has this amazing dance routine so I actually was a little sad they never really they do like half the chorus at the end
[00:26:36] but they don't really do any of it um but yeah I was kind of like oh it's like a little like stagnant for such an energetic song yeah so I think maybe if you're sitting farther away this isn't as
[00:26:48] effective but when you're close to them and especially when you're in the pit and they go over you yes it's really really cool yeah it's really really cool and I of course I love the
[00:26:58] reference too to the music video um I'm sure it's quite scary to be on the bikes like that but I think just visually even if they kind of just went like up and down a little bit or something like
[00:27:10] carousel kind of like yeah one is more forward or like two of them are more forward than the other two or just something just to make it slightly more give it a little bit more depth I think
[00:27:19] that maybe would have made it a little better yeah solid but at the end of the day they flew on my motorcycles so that's awesome yeah this is just me being yeah you know better than the
[00:27:32] little flying platform so could I see y'all they thought of something new yeah for sure for sure I was very excited that Sound of the Underground was on the end stage oh yeah because I mean at
[00:27:43] the end of the day this song means so much to me oh and so to have them and on the 10 tour they were mostly on that that platform so they only did that last chorus like with with the mic stands
[00:27:53] and stuff so to see them do almost the entire like original dancer team like right in front of me yeah literally like 20 feet in front of me um and and like Nikola like staring at us the whole time
[00:28:07] because we were doing every dance move with them and she was loving it so that was a really big highlight for me for sure yeah Kim saw us two actually Kim I think I was like in Kim and a face I was like
[00:28:22] like when we were leaning forward with our fake mic stands yeah you know you can see her smile you can see in her eyes because obviously she asked it to sing in that moment
[00:28:30] there was just a party without the flag yeah they probably think we're nuts no no it's no good kind of nuts because I love when people can like sing something back to you was like yo you're
[00:28:39] you know he's a quote-unquote crazy fan like I love you give that to me you know we then got the first of the album tracks the fan favorites we got girl over board yeah tangled up I was so
[00:28:52] excited that this made the set list I've never witnessed it live before and it's like one of my top top girl the loud songs yeah so yeah that was a great moment the faith those yeah I think it's
[00:29:05] good that they are able to perform the song album tracks like this because then you have like repeating my soul and then all that summer was like a single obviously but then that whole
[00:29:16] like little section of repeating my soul long hot summer no good advice girl over board that whole section was a nice little like we know the fans love it well the real fans we know that they
[00:29:26] love it so they're going to sing it I think this was the more like the section that was a little bit more like them free flowing I'm not saying that they weren't dancing or doing
[00:29:36] choreography but because they were more like close to us I felt it was just a lot more fun they were just kind of living in the moment as opposed to like when they were on the stage for
[00:29:45] the back or doing like the more uh campier songs like love machine they weren't doing like choreography and choreography it was more just like we're walking we're walking we're singing some hair flips here's a moment here's a moment um and I really do appreciate because
[00:30:00] there's so many fun moments in these songs like repeating my soul with the stuttering and we have a cute little duet dance song with Kim and Nikola and I was like finally because I think
[00:30:13] throughout me watching their tours I've always been like okay put Kim on the screen now on the screen now put her on everything I've always done that like I've watched it I'm like okay
[00:30:21] where's Nikola now okay no Tino shade to the other members but I think it's just with the editing depending on who's singing or whatever either get a wide shot while Kim is singing or like I was like come on or get a quick little Nikola moment which probably
[00:30:34] actually was singing her face off in that tent or code you know whole my frame um but yeah I like those moments like that I think because this section was a little bit more rock focused
[00:30:44] that's why the girls vocals just sounded so good like you can totally hear how much their vocals have matured and you can hear the experience and the technique uh there are moments where I saw Kim like really holding her diaphragm like a true
[00:30:58] being off saying off because she was like hang on you to make sure I'm breathing and she was when I was like girl go the hell off um I do enjoy hearing Kim and Nikola throughout the show
[00:31:10] of course we know that Nadine and Cheryl are great singers I I don't I didn't know that people didn't think that Cheryl was a good singer which is a shame because her voice I can sing her
[00:31:19] parts I'm like I could do that I can be a Cheryl like her voice is very much that metal soprano kind of like very forward chesty kind of singing and I like it um but yeah it was nice to see Kim
[00:31:32] and Nikola kind of getting their moments on the main stage while Cheryl and Nadine were a little bit more upstage yeah you know so I thought it was it was a good section where they were
[00:31:43] really letting the other girls shine for a moment and then coming forward outside coordinating their um their movements like I watched a couple of fancams here and there and they really coordinated choreographed everything which I think is important because what could end up happening is you're bumping
[00:31:57] into people yes you're like stepping over and crossing and upstaging but I think because everything was so choreographed it was it was really it was great um also this was the
[00:32:07] section that Cheryl gave me a shout yes she did yeah that was so nice oh my goodness yeah I will say Nogan Adviced was so good on this tour like the energy in it especially in the pit was like
[00:32:23] kind of insane because everyone's just screaming that song with them yeah uh and yeah I agree with you I kind of love also that there wasn't as much choreography and the little moments that they
[00:32:35] then they did do choreography then it made them that more special as well um so yeah like no good advice the fact that they could kind of just jump around with everyone was kind of awesome
[00:32:45] and long hot summer I actually was very surprised that this made it in uh it hasn't been in many of their tours and it's largely regarded as as one of their kind of worst singles it was it's one
[00:33:00] of their least successful as well commercially um but I actually love that it kind of got a moment here and it ended up being like a actually a really great like sing-along moment and a
[00:33:10] bit lighter than kind of the other songs that came before it in the set so it kind of transitioned then into I'll stand by you like nicely right um so one thing we should discuss though is that there
[00:33:21] is a picture of the show's original set list that has since surfaced uh I think people zoomed in on one of the photos from the Guardian article that came out uh and this slot where Long Hot
[00:33:32] Summer was was originally a rotating song a little like moment yeah uh so the list had Long Hot Summer Life Got Cold Real Life Memory of You and it also listed Four Non-Blons which I assume it was going
[00:33:48] to be a cover of one of the Four Non-Blons songs which is a bit of an odd choice but I think maybe Sarah really liked them so yeah yeah uh so yeah I guess Long Hot Summer was not originally
[00:33:59] going to be a permanent song in the in the set list yeah wow but I think it it deserves its moment so I'm actually glad it got it and out of that list of songs I think this one was the
[00:34:13] right choice yes I agree so I think with Long Hot Summer even though what I'm gonna say is the opposite it cooled everyone down as opposed to be like yeah go over more yeah no good advice
[00:34:23] it was like uh cool down to our radies and gents all right on to the next song and you have the Dean you know uh letting us know we're getting ready to sing a very poignant song and to
[00:34:36] you know get your flashlights and stuff out and I think that's a great way there wasn't much speaking but I think it was a great way to kind of ease us into it um yeah so at one of my shows
[00:34:48] afterwards um she took this opportunity to shout out some of the signs that people made because people had some really really funny ones um and so one of my friends he had one that just said wasp on it
[00:35:00] which she loved so just wanted to shout that out please explain there's a performance of call the shots from a festival where there's a wasp that shows up and she stops singing to like
[00:35:13] yell about it I remember that is actually hysterical yeah go off and then and then there are other posters about like Cheryl's you know peak of greek and all that um so that was just really fun also
[00:35:27] there were so many people from like all over uh so my friend had a poster showing that he was from Hong Kong him really and Cheryl were like shocked by that and so he got a really cute moment with
[00:35:37] them um me and one of my other friends we also had like new york signs which they pointed at there were people from chili there were people from like mexico like all the parts of the u.s it was
[00:35:47] kind of crazy like yeah how many people traveled um so yeah that was that was really awesome and so yeah nadine did take that moment in one show to do this okay well that's actually really cute
[00:36:00] I wasn't expecting her to arrive before I'll stand by you but so cute um what did you think about I'll stand by you I mean I feel like I didn't realize by the time we got to that song how quickly
[00:36:11] this show was going by because oh yeah one songs um but yeah I think the way uh stairs vocals were featured was really great and it goes back to what you were saying about the band possibly not
[00:36:24] getting timing with mp3 or at wade form xx wait file um it was great the year of ways I do wonder if they if moments could have been elevated with more like harmonies throughout uh like here and
[00:36:36] there as opposed to just the chorus um I think the ending was immaculate so it's a kimba kimba hell down that out that was what I was actually going to shout out too the root note she was
[00:36:49] only so go with the hell off girl also she also did the octave for the girl overboard intro and I actually didn't notice that because they faced the pit for that so I didn't actually see that
[00:36:59] until I was in the pit the last night and I was like oh my gosh she's doing the octave she never did that back in the day so good for her her range you know a lot of sweet hair vocal I forgot what
[00:37:07] her range was improved a lot yeah um yeah I think it's awesome that they managed to find Sarah's like full demo vocal I guess of I'll stand by you and I think it's really awesome because she
[00:37:19] sings it more like the original like the original pretenders version uh because she's just more influenced anyway in how she sings and so it's kind of awesome to hear that I do hope we get
[00:37:30] like an official release of it or something maybe um or but even if they you know if they hopefully they still for DVD but you know getting like a proper recording of it will be really nice
[00:37:41] I actually have the same notes as you about kind of the extra harmonies and backing vocals oh yeah I guess we did talk about it after the show because like in the second verse
[00:37:53] you actually can see that they are singing some extra uh little vocal moment but their mice are turned down very low and then especially in that bridge when they're doing the uh or the other
[00:38:06] yeah oo's or a's but you can't even hear it and I checked a couple fancams from you know cross because I wasn't sure if it was just you know in the arena that it was just very loud but yeah
[00:38:15] they turn their mice sound quite low for that so that's interesting um because I agree with you it was an opportunity to actually have them harmonize with Sarah during the verses but yeah
[00:38:25] I love the way that they're ending each section or at least these first two sections with these ballads because it can be hard sometimes to place ballads in a set list because it does kind of
[00:38:35] you know the energy kind of goes down quite quickly with that but the way that they turned both whole lot history and I'll stand by you into proper moments um dedicated to Sarah especially
[00:38:46] I think that was just a really smart decision so yeah well good stuff I mean it brings this show it's like a little bit of a lull but we haven't shouted them out um even though there were moments
[00:38:58] of silence what brought us back into the atmosphere of the show were the dancers we mentioned them during the performances but we didn't mention like the in-between like they were kind of stitching those little acts uh together so yes we finally get to get to the next act
[00:39:14] we get introduced to the dancers and oh my goodness I have to say throughout the whole show I think the the third and final act the red and black outfits um were was like my favorite intro because we had
[00:39:26] a guy doing some b-boying the guys were like on the middle with it the roundabout if you call it that the runway they're all everywhere loved it um and this final act featured the songs
[00:39:38] sexy no no no on the metro jump call the shots and something kind of yeah baby oh man oh wow you know I everyone was collectively snatched when we saw the dresses
[00:39:55] the inflated dresses yes that was in the d because she was snatching the crap on her dress I would be she was like when to make the smooth words she said you'll get some for me you'll get
[00:40:06] um those dresses I don't know if they had any like technical issues with those things but there's so much I can go wrong and oh yeah there's been multiple nights where at least one of
[00:40:16] them is like not inflating properly oh yeah including my last night actually kimberleys was fully deflated by the end of this song I'm just that I'm tired girl I'm tired I love the little
[00:40:28] like the silhouette of it because it looked like a little jello mo it was so cute oh my gosh actually I don't know if you read the guardian interview but the whole time because it was it
[00:40:36] was done during the rehearsals and they're like he he he writes about how they were trying to figure out exactly how much to inflate them because if you inflate them too much they were like we look
[00:40:46] like toilet paper not like a roll of toilet paper I mean if you guys have ever seen the dots candy that's what it looked like to you got dots candy or jello so no ladies you didn't like toilet
[00:41:02] paper congratulations I think this like I said the dancers opened it up so when they kind of appeared not kind of when they actually appeared on their dots their dresses it was great I was
[00:41:15] and this is a testament to their performance quality because they're very charismatic and they went nowhere they didn't move a damn inch and I was still captivated I was like I don't know what
[00:41:27] to look at but obviously like whoever say I just shifted my eyes and my gaze yes and that because I was like oh my god I'm just excited um yeah it felt powerful for sure also a major shout out to
[00:41:39] Kimberly for covering Sarah's oh you know Dan reason line because honestly she would not have been able to sing that as well as she did previously so yes what is the song that they're sampling in this
[00:41:52] new live version because I know this guitar riff and I can't place it at all so please someone please comment and let us know word because it sounds so familiar but like my brain is just not
[00:42:04] clicking to that um yes but yeah I agree with you I think this is another one where when I saw like I think I saw just like again like a really bad quality like 10 second clip of them just in
[00:42:16] these dresses and I was like oh they're like not moving or doing anything but in person it feels very powerful actually yeah yeah I see a couple comments on videos who are like they're not 70
[00:42:26] years old they could be in America I'm like you know what to be fair also I think as the tour has gone on they're they're a little more loose with it like yeah because I think the clip that I saw
[00:42:37] it was only Nadine that was kind of like even interacting with the dress and the rest of them were just kind of like yeah posing in it so now it feels more dynamic anyway given you know
[00:42:47] even just like halfway into the tour right right yeah so f'd up so and by the time this comes out the tour will be over so maybe you know they'll do a bit more with it that's so funny I mean
[00:42:59] there's nothing else that could do I mean to really represent this song like unless they just stand over like I mean the dance machine for this is pretty great as well so this side of me I
[00:43:07] like staging wise I don't know what I mean yeah yeah they done did everything they could think of they been moving around so yeah yeah let them sit down but yeah so moving on with that I think
[00:43:16] this the whole show up into this point was full of big moments with the vocals as you mentioned earlier everything was really tasteful everyone sounds really strong and I'm so happy that no one was
[00:43:32] over singing yes tried to out do the other everything had its place and intention from what I've seen in fancams the ad libs the extra blah blah blahs the vocals excuse me extra vocals have been
[00:43:46] consistent which is good because when you try to switch things up no matter how good of a singing you are if you're not like if you're not really confident or not even confident I've read the
[00:43:54] word but like if you don't really practice something and your placement's off then it's like it's going to ruin the whole atmosphere of the song because you gotta be flat or you're
[00:44:05] gonna be sharp and I've seen that a couple times where people try to change up their ad libs and they weren't expecting to change up the ad lib and then suddenly it doesn't sound good or like because
[00:44:14] they're out of breath and they didn't rehearse it it falls you know I'm saying so um it doesn't mean the person not a good singer so when you're in a show and all the adrenaline's going if you
[00:44:23] decide you want to hit a high note it might not come out but if you do then know that your muscle has already memorized it could come out really good or just like okay whatever but at
[00:44:32] least it was the the practice choice and I appreciate that again um I feel once again Kim and Nikola had a duo for on the metro and they were leading it up like I said Cheryl Nadine
[00:44:47] great set of women great set warrior I'm very familiar with them like for me and I think of this group I think of Nadine's voice Cheryl's face Nikola is my favorite member and Kim I
[00:45:00] was always like oh hang on she has a little lookiness to her voice I like it and to actually like see them in the forefront see them on the main the main catwalk I know end stage end stage thank you
[00:45:11] see them there was great also we haven't even actually shouted out some of the new visuals that they filmed as well the on the metro one like they should just turn that into a music video for sure at this point really the modulizers look at this something because
[00:45:25] it looks so good I appreciate how those new visuals naturally from top to the bottom of the show has matched even with Sarah's parts they matched and I'm like oh my god being up close obviously
[00:45:36] this the perspective could be like either like hit or miss but I think wherever you are in that stadium or the arena rather it not and I'm like thank god I think we're jump the visual the two
[00:45:47] town that duo town visual effect was so trippy I don't uh I'm okay with it I don't think it was like the best thing ever but I guess it is added to the atmosphere I whatever yeah I think
[00:45:58] that's the most random out of all of that remember this moment remember I thought that was the most random um out of uh the visuals from yeah have you have you since seen the viral clip of jump
[00:46:10] that was going around no okay so this was one of the few clips that I actually saw uh that look longer clips that I saw before I went to the show because Nadine totally forgot all the
[00:46:21] words and she literally sings I'm singing the wrong or words and anyway that went viral like that was that went everywhere there were news articles about it um and it was hilarious because
[00:46:32] all four of them started laughing um it was a cute moment um in the show uh so yeah uh just wanted to shout that out uh and then on the metro one thing I did notice from going multiple times
[00:46:45] the one time that a solo line is lip synced remember so obviously the course is there there's backing track and stuff which is very normal yeah but Nadine does not sing the
[00:46:56] when it came back I was gone oh ballad oh when it came back he was gone I actually sang that live that's on the track and I was like that's the one moment I wonder why she
[00:47:08] meant singing the whole show would she be yeah it's a bit odd it's a bit odd just wanted to point that out no I think the note after a certain point is pretty high because I don't think she hits
[00:47:18] anything that super high like come up with super high um throughout the show really and that he was like I feel it's kind of high there's a sound of the underground like ablib or the call the shots at
[00:47:34] anyway okay yeah I mean we did have a little dance break I guess right before it so maybe she was just like I can't yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah can you imagine her I'm not doing it yeah put it on the track
[00:47:47] put it on the track sound blamer yeah but on the metro is so funny here because um I would say crying in the club and then I heard that song you were like you need kind of metro yeah sure and this show
[00:48:00] kind of encompasses the song on that song because I was crying and on the metro this whole show like I was happy I was sad I was like oh I think uh it's it was a very full so by time
[00:48:16] somebody kind of comes around uh well sorry I almost got over call the shots close on was great obviously it was it was great I love the ending of that song so the ending of the song is so good
[00:48:26] and it's so um how do you say like haunting yes like uh I mean we've already praised them enough I don't know what else I could say really about call the shots because it's right in between jump
[00:48:37] and then something kind of ooh yeah those two are the ones I really stuck up in my mind because the jump without the crimp beddie and the streamers that I'm so glad that we were not
[00:48:45] in front of me behind because they were oh yeah they all got stuck up there yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I mean call the shots I mean it's is my favorite for the loud song yeah and it's always just a good
[00:48:56] sing-along moment so yeah if you're if you're surrounded by fans it's always fun because everyone's singing it yeah yeah I mean our crowd wasn't singing with us but like I didn't feel
[00:49:06] very warm and fuzzy I didn't feel like awkward but I feel like he would I were like this who has a cow's swing like palm trees totally totally the pit the call the shots of the pit was
[00:49:15] pretty great yeah it goes up got it got it it's hilarious um like I said I am kind of maybe I'm greedy but I am so like once something kind of came around I was like if the pet
[00:49:27] and you were like yeah I was like what yeah it's over yeah I was so kind of like oh damn well yeah yeah I will say for something kind of great to see them do pretty much the entire original
[00:49:39] dance routine yeah uh and Kimberly she is finally after all these years truly owning her two lines what do you mean oh oh boy because you know before she she didn't really like give it her all
[00:49:56] now I love she understands how iconic that moment is yeah and each night it got more and more dramatic and yeah actually even I think the first Glasgow night she did it like in a Scottish accent
[00:50:09] basically um love it and so she finally is truly owning that how iconic that moment is so good and and doing everything she can to annunciate every single word yeah it's a kick in your
[00:50:24] see that's right um also the third night that I went uh the second night in Glasgow right after that that moment happens Nadine and Nikola come forward for their little like vocal battle moment Nadine did trip um oh no and she started laughing and Nikola started laughing
[00:50:40] and actually caught Nadine's eye as well which was kind of fun there uh but it was just a really cute moment between the two of them yeah I think for all the super fans they know like yes obviously
[00:50:49] the big more public kind of dispute was between Cheryl and Nadine right but Nadine and Nikola were also like not the closest yeah so to see them do a little vocal battle and actually have fun
[00:51:02] together is actually like a really beautiful thing to see that's a thing um so that was just a great moment and Nikola kind of getting to just like ad lib her life away for that chorus is awesome
[00:51:13] because she doesn't get much in that song usually yeah yeah and then Nadine and Cheryl have that really cute they do this little really cute moment at the end of that song too so it yeah
[00:51:26] it's just amazing just seeing them actually be friends again oh yeah totally I mean like throughout this show there was great moments of chemistry that I really appreciate I mean
[00:51:37] I don't know all the ins and outs of we don't we we will never fully know the ins and outs of their relationship right but considering the things that I saw from the 10 uh show and how
[00:51:49] even if they had some tension it held a whoa they were really it's congressional this one didn't feel like professional like oh we're just together for obligation like that I felt professional
[00:52:00] it felt polished but it also felt so real it felt so the hand holding I appreciated the hugging the eye contact and that's what matters like even when they're hitting those hitting certain notes and they're trying to make sure their blend is together they're looking at each other
[00:52:16] again shout out to Cheryl I think overall I think for having some of the best like I'm gonna see you I'm gonna spot you um as a group I like I said before I really do believe that
[00:52:27] their moment of walking around and fan interaction fan service if you will is well rehearsed in stage because it's really smooth and I've noticed like there's a back and forth and blow that goes
[00:52:41] on in their um I got choreography and their performances so honestly I'm here for all the love I'm here for all the neatness professionalism it was very good and the kind of who has an ending
[00:52:55] even though I was not ready for solid oh it's a perfect song to end the main set like the energy is pretty amazing for that one so it did fly by but we are already at the end of the show
[00:53:09] as you mentioned and they do have one more song they do do the promise yeah we get the golden silver dresses we get the references to kind of their previous performances we get the sparks we get the
[00:53:23] big pink feather fans from the Brits I was like oh my god I look at you a girl yeah and then of course the way they highlighted Sarah's part her primrose part was so beautifully done uh so they put
[00:53:40] that screen up kind of in front of them and they have her projected and you see the four of them staring at her yeah and they made it just like this full acapella moment and yeah so I think uh
[00:53:55] the the musical director of the show um great job darling honey um because it was really haunting but even hot uh haunting is not the word I want to use here but yeah it's a haunting but without the
[00:54:09] the like the smoky scary aspect of haunting it's yeah I know what you mean it's a very it's lasting it feels like um an engravement into your soul if you will so you think of Sarah with
[00:54:21] these big like bright vocal moments yeah she's the quite a whole brightest vocal in terms of like technique and um tamper so you're hearing that was like sobering in a sense because you have this whole
[00:54:34] craziness of this show you're really high from everything everyone's gonna be in the little moments with their fear and the promise and then you hear this very clear piercing voice over and over again singing uh here I am wonder i'm going to see you again and I'm like
[00:54:49] I know it's kind of it's kind of weird how like point knit those lyrics are yeah I was like yeah I know I know so yeah moments like that was really good I will say for our show and Aberdeen
[00:55:03] uh I think Nadine's anywhere was a little bit off because her timing was up in the hip hop and then her vocal was a little off yeah but not like she was singing ahead yeah yeah but she sustained
[00:55:13] the notes so that it snapped into place essentially so yeah after her for being able to do it oh crap something's not right let me sustain this no get the timing right respect to her for that um yeah I mean
[00:55:25] the pickup of vocals after um here I am walking through her as part of the bridge that pickup was great oh my god her so cool I loved it loved it stand out for sure I have nobody else to say
[00:55:37] but oh my god wow wow yeah it's this great it was a great build up of hearing their vocals because they all have great tones and to hear them stack their vocals was just really um powerful
[00:55:50] and I think that's what that's why it was so impactful because you could hear each one of them and you can hear that uh there was like what like the part their parts make the whole so much better
[00:56:00] as opposed to then being apart from each other so I think that was really nice to have Sarah obviously when she's finished singing and then Nicola and then the big up it kind of builds
[00:56:09] yeah yeah it felt like I felt like watching like you know Sailor Moon or freaking Captain Planet our powers combined it was great I was like oh yeah so this was actually the other kind of more
[00:56:21] longer clip that I saw before I went to the show because uh the other viral moment that happened was so Cheryl was actually a bit sick the first couple shows at the tour and so I think her voice
[00:56:33] was kind of just gone at this point so she points to Nadine she like she like asked Nadine to sing her last line for her like the end of that bridge that big note yeah um you should find this afterwards if
[00:56:45] you haven't seen it but uh I can't remember because Nadine is doing this like like thing in the back already and so she's like looking at Cheryl and she has like crazy eyes as she's like
[00:56:55] doing this very nice ad lib like girls and then she she gets the words wrong well she does sing the line for her but again this was just like a great moment where it's just like the chemistry
[00:57:06] of the group like Cheryl would never have asked Nadine to sing for her back in the day you know what I mean I'll be flat but I'm not asking you yeah
[00:57:18] so yeah that moment had a ton of news articles about it too which um were funny was pretty funny to see but yeah I think the promise does make a great concert ender like they ended
[00:57:29] 10 with it as well I think there is because it is that kind of Motown-y vibe yeah it doesn't really fit in with a lot of the rest of their discography so having it stand on its own give it its own moment
[00:57:40] is their Brit award winning song yeah and just that Motown sound makes it feel kind of timeless anyway uh so just a beautiful way to end it I also think it it was a really nice choice to also
[00:57:54] not really say anything afterwards they kind of just kind of leave it as it is they do their bow you get that picture of Sarah you know huge on the screens yes and they just hold hands and just walk
[00:58:07] away like I think that's such a beautiful way to end it I did hear at one of the shows they were like are they not gonna say bye you know I think I heard someone say that um they did with Sarah
[00:58:19] uh but yeah no I think I think it was just a beautiful way to end it and you kind of leave kind of feeling the same way that you do at the start of the show it's like you're happy
[00:58:30] but it's also like kind of sad uh yeah I don't know it it's kind of very interesting I haven't really been to a show like that yeah it was it was yeah all of a sudden they're like
[00:58:42] I'm gonna cry I was sitting there like you've been that crying I had to pull my eyes out a couple times like like I looked crazy does that does that help it does for me I guess I was like
[00:58:54] especially with um uh was it I think act one a whole lot of history yeah because I kept playing it over and over and I was like yes strong it yeah I was tearing up a little bit as well during
[00:59:08] that one yeah I was like you better about crying girl I'm like it's okay to cry but like yeah I'm gonna cry oh man overall the show was very effective and what they set out to do
[00:59:21] shout out to the creatifer yeah oh yeah Beth killed that thank you that's the day yeah shout out to her shout out to um the dancers that oh yeah director everyone on the team great job um but yeah I feel
[00:59:33] like this is one of the the best shows I've seen but I haven't seen a lot of shows this year but considering I feel consider how much I don't want to just spend my money on people
[00:59:42] I'm glad I spent money to go see them you know it is a big effort for us to fly over there and kind of do all that so so yeah I'm glad I'm glad it was worth it for you yeah I I this was everything
[00:59:57] I could have wanted like back in the day I had heard rumblings I think people kind of knew there was something that was being planned for the 20th anniversary like before we knew Sarah had her situation
[01:00:10] but even if they had done it then it wouldn't have like it would have been another obligation like you had said earlier about the tent or because just their relationships just weren't there
[01:00:20] I think it's it's a bit sad of course that it took Sarah's kind of tragedy to kind of bring them all back together but they have created a really beautiful thing together and I'd be fine
[01:00:34] if this was kind of the last thing they ever do like I think they did an amazing job referencing everything celebrating everything word up or and I really got like personal attention from all four
[01:00:47] of them like I can't really like ask for anything else like as a fan you know I mean as a baby fan I'm only four years old up here but you're like an intense fan you know the b-sides and stuff you
[01:00:58] know like that counts it's fine I actually met a lot of people in the pit that were newer fans have never seen them before yeah a lot we know it thank you I put the work in dang it yeah for sure
[01:01:08] for sure but yeah what do you think like moving forward so so basically they have one more scheduled appearance after the tour they are doing Brighton Pride in August yeah I actually
[01:01:19] have decided to fly over for this because if it is the last thing that they do I do want to be there it is a Saturday so I can literally just go for like two days and come back so word up word up
[01:01:29] that's happening but yeah what do you think for the future of Girls Allowed uh if I were a billionaire I would totally pull what that man in Saudi Arabia did for Beyonce and be like you're coming
[01:01:40] to sing on my wedding um I wish I had the funds for that because I would literally be like hey listen how much to get job in New York how much um but yeah I think at this point they're done I mean
[01:01:53] they could pull a whole like we're going to just do like a cute little on-course situation but at that point I think it'd be a little bit just it's the word egregious that's not the word I want to use
[01:02:02] but I feel like it'd be a little bit like extra say be a little extra you wouldn't do anything else past this summer um because I feel like they've set everything that they need to say
[01:02:12] um they pay their respects the way they need to do uh at this point I feel like it's going to be just a bunch of reissues and besides release and hey this is in the ball and much appreciated
[01:02:25] for sure yes I do want a damn dvd give me a dvd that I can please because the other play does yeah I mean we should know by the time that this episode comes out if there were at least
[01:02:38] real cameras you know because even when I went to the tent tour like there were hope there were big there were big cameras everywhere and there were popesters that were like if you're entering this
[01:02:46] venue you're you know you're allowing yourself to be filmed or whatever so yeah okay well dvd please at least at least um but yeah no I feel like I'm satisfied with what they did um I think
[01:03:00] they did a really good job this was a very done period big dot kind of show um I'm here I'm here for the big dot yeah I mean there has been a lot of buzz I think this tour has gone very very well for
[01:03:11] them yeah uh I could see them potentially just doing maybe a festival run or something next year like you know like Glastonbury yeah plus a few others kind of around the country it's kind of a
[01:03:24] final final thing um maybe another documentary or something like that I could see that but in terms of actually moving forward with new music I don't know first off Brian and Miranda from Xenomania don't actually really work together anymore like Miranda's not part of Xenomania anymore
[01:03:43] so if they were to make new music a sheet would have to come back uh so there's kind of that aspect of things I also think like you said this show did feel like a big period but at the same
[01:03:56] time this is the closest they've ever been they seem to be having a good time even in that gardening interview Cheryl does say who knows um and before that they were very much like we're
[01:04:09] not recording new music we're not doing anything else so the fact that she even said that maybe there's potential for more um but yeah like I said I'm I'm satisfied with kind of what they have and I am excited for like the reissues of stuff that you've mentioned
[01:04:24] that you know we're only two albums in with the reissues so we're I'm sure there's still a lot in the vault as well um yeah we'll see I'm here for it for regardless of anything that you so
[01:04:37] you know what if I become a millionaire in the next like year or so I'll I'll give y'all a money come through a private little pub pub show yes for select people I also was very lucky
[01:04:51] because as I was leaving the pit of the third show I bumped into Peter Lorraine uh of fascination management and originally he was just walking past me so I actually just said I think I just said hi
[01:05:05] I just want to say thank you for everything that you've done um and he actually just and he just stopped and he just started talking to me um so he ended up having like a couple minutes of
[01:05:16] discussion and I kind of got to tell him kind of just my story as a fan and I got to thank him just for pretty much just everything he's done like for my life because he came up with the Spice
[01:05:26] Girls nicknames back in the day you know obviously he convinced the label to continue with Girls Loud you know for that second album yeah he then managed the Saturdays and he basically
[01:05:40] helped steps do their entire comeback he helped all saints do their whole comeback like I owe so much to this man yeah so brilliant I'm really I yeah I was really happy I got to to meet him
[01:05:53] I'd express all of that to him so yes just wanted to point that out thank you Peter yes thank you mr peter your break a lot of it like what else
[01:06:02] all that being said I want to extend a thank you to mr peter for keeping girl groups alive and steps you know thank you to miss nicola miss Kimberly miss Cheryl miss Nadine and of course thank you to miss
[01:06:16] Sarah Harding for being girls allowed uh thank you to pg live for giving us an awesome experience and of course all the venues of course but this is about girls allowed so thank you guys for being
[01:06:26] awesome um yeah I made at this point just super thank you big dot big period we have a fandom name this alloweders right isn't and shout out to all the alloweders for
[01:06:37] keeping the girls going for so long and giving them a reason to come back seriously because there's so many groups I say we're gonna get back together and they can't because there is no fans waiting
[01:06:46] there are no fans waiting and the fans were waiting and we were ready and all right that brings us to the end show well this today's episode for our show yes let us know if you attended the show or
