A co-ed group was very unheard of in K-pop. So BM, looking back at your debut, what do you remember most about Shaping Card's early sound and identity? And how has your own creative approach evolved as you've written and produced more of the group's music through the years? Yeah.
00:02:21 --> 00:02:45 Oh, man. I feel like, to be honest, in the beginning, we didn't really have a say in our creative direction. It was all kind of planned out for us. But that being the case, I think we fell in love with that direction because, one, it worked. Two, it was, you know, well-received by, you know, everyone that we call our fan base now. So, yeah.

And I think after that, moving forward, after we kind of learned what we're good at, what we're kind of not good at, it was easier to push a direction that is more suitable for us as well. Yeah. That's awesome. So Min, how would you describe your music and visuals to someone who has never heard a part?

00:16:41 --> 00:17:09 it's ruining my shot. Yeah. But yeah, I mean, it was, it was fun to watch it. I wish we could have gotten more like behind the scene, like tour video. I love preparation because it's been like nine years. So group like that, I would have loved to have seen like some more behind the scenes and during their VCR moments, but the VCR moments were more about like showing their personality and their chemistry as a group, which I think is very good. Yeah. They're cute as well. Yeah. Super cute. Yeah. I wouldn't have mind a costume change.

And their songs, especially the newer ones, you know, they're made for a performance. Yes. So the energy was just super, super high. I would have loved some live mixes, like live band mixes. Some of them just to amp it up even more. They deserve a bump.

You know, you could tell like, you know, those little choreography moments when they're dancing with each other. They're having a lot of fun. So it was fun to watch. It was it felt very chill, like very relaxed with the way they talk to the crowd.

And it was so funny because I remember telling people for our interview, we want to make sure that we're not asking them questions about their day and what their favorite colors are and things like that. Because sometimes you watch interviews and you're like, oh, it's not like telling the fans that they love music. And some of those questions, like those really innocent, fun questions did come up. And I was like, I'm so glad we didn't ask that. Yeah, yeah.

I think that is really important because some people can lose their cool. And that whole team was just like.

But I think this was like the least chaotic experience I've had with an artist in a really long time with a production team. Yeah. You know?
