00:00:00 --> 00:00:28 We're on fire, fire, fire right now. This is CCTV, the nonstop pop show, where we provide our unfiltered, honest opinions on global pop music. Hey. Hi. Big shout out to Julianne, our Patreon member, who is a huge looney and asked us to review and team's brand new EP, We on Fire. We did previously do Back to Life. Yes, we did. So let's see what we think of this new project.

00:00:29 --> 00:00:46 So We on Fire is Antin's third Japanese EP released April 13th, 2026 digitally and April 21st physically. And the EP continues the dark moon universe that has anchored the group's identity since debut, built around the concept of when scars become the fuel.

00:00:47 --> 00:01:13 We will now dive into the production, the vocals, the visuals, performances of the songs, and drop our individual ratings. And we want to hear your opinions too. So drop your thoughts and ratings on all the songs in the comments below. But be warned, viewer discretion is advised. Your fave will be criticized. So let's get into this album cover of We Own Fire. I mean, they don't sing it like that, but...

00:01:14 --> 00:01:34 Let's get into it. So the last cover was leather. Yeah. And like this inky wolf. Yeah. That looked like venom to me. People are saying it's a jaw. A jaw? Yeah. Like a jaw. Sorry. I said jaw. Sorry guys. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But yes. This one looks like steel. It looks like it's, you know, you press the steel and it has like a seal. Yeah.

00:01:34 --> 00:02:03 Yes. Let go. It even has the nails on the corners as well. Yeah. That's real. Yeah, it's cool. I like how scratched up it is. There's definitely detail in here to make it feel very textured. Yeah. This is their official seal, guys. I'm seeing some thorns. Either way, it's a crest. Could be fire. Could even be a tree. I could see a tree in the middle. Yes. Okay. A shield shape. Yes. I think so, too. I honestly... I like this. I think...

00:02:03 --> 00:02:18 a little bit more than what i've seen before i feel like this is solid this is a family crest it's going to last generations if you have a tattoo of this please tell us i wonder if any fans got a tattoo of her because their album covers are actually like a really nice tattoo looks oh yeah okay

00:02:18 --> 00:02:37 Well, let's get into the songs. So first is the title track. We have We on Fire, done by Soma Genda, Julia Lewis, Hitman Bang, Deleon, and Tej? Tej? Tej. Tej. I'm going to go for Tej. All right. Let's just have a miss. We on fire, fire, fire, fire.

00:02:39 --> 00:02:50 But yes, so We On Fly, you heard us singing it earlier. I mean, we... That's how a song sounds. I think for me, this song is interesting because after listening to

00:02:51 --> 00:03:16 Was it Back to Life? Yeah. I have grown to like Back to Life. Yeah. A lot. I think I gave it like an eight. I don't remember. I think I gave it like a pretty okay score, but I've grown to like it a little bit more. And now hearing this one, I can't say I'm like, wow, because I do like the rock direction and I don't mind the rock direction. But then we got this kind of dated trap drum vibe. And I mean, at this point, like trap is not.

00:03:16 --> 00:03:35 It doesn't have to ever go away, but I think at a time that K-pop latched onto it, like a couple years ago, like a couple of spoons a decade ago now, it's played its part in the music. But I think at this point, the guys can kind of go because it's a little bit more edgier and doesn't have to integrate hip hop so much. Like, I mean, especially with like J-pop, like rock is very much welcome.

00:03:35 --> 00:03:57 um and i get that they have a korean version and do want to promote on the korean shows as well but even still go for that rock town and like really go hard for it um the lyrics about the vibes and squads and things like that again it's dated it's just it's a little like you know my crew you don't have to say that because they've said it a couple times now like this is like the umpteenth single where it's like

00:03:57 --> 00:04:17 more bros you know i'm like okay um not their fault though i think it's just kind of the direction that the company's putting them in you know it's i mean that's how idle life is like you sign up you don't know what concept you're gonna get and this is what it is for the rest of your life um but yeah i get the whole like we're a team that faces adversity we have each other's back it sounds very powerful but my issue is that the verse

00:04:17 --> 00:04:32 Free hook and the chorus all sounds the same. And there's no bridge, really. No bridge. So I think melodically is not my favorite. And they can do better. Like Back to Life, the structure there is a lot more interesting, I feel. But this one is like meh.

00:04:33 --> 00:04:56 Yeah, a lot of similar comments to you. I did watch the behind the scenes of the recording of this whole EP, and I did find it interesting that they did up the key a few times. It looks like they did a half step, and then they did another half step to try and just give it a bit more impact and make it more powerful. And that worked, but I think the chorus itself, first, I think the melody is just not my favorite. Yeah. Um...

00:04:56 --> 00:05:14 I do think it should have been a gang vocal. Yeah, something with some more like harmony. Yeah, especially if the title is We on Fire. If you had the whole group singing, we on fire, fire, and as almost a chant, like a battle cry, and they almost did it with more of that rock feel a bit.

00:05:14 --> 00:05:35 more like growl in there yeah i think it could have been a bit more impactful there um but i think the vocal and in the verses and stuff are nice like fuma stands out a lot to me i like the rasp in his in his verse um there's some really good tones throughout this group yes but the

00:05:35 --> 00:06:05 yeah you know and then yeah there's no bridge it's like very very short just kind of ends like there's just no real climax so we don't get any ad-libs or anything in that second chorus you know right or that last chorus um yeah i mean the the track itself it's definitely attention grabbing you know you have this like trap beat there's a really heavy bass there so i can see this being really um powerful live like hearing this in a live setting in an arena um yeah i'm gonna be

00:06:05 --> 00:06:25 Not my fave. No. No. Yeah. What did you think of the music video? Okay, the music video, I enjoyed because it reminds me of an RPG game or a video game. Totally. So you pick your favorite. I think it was Kay who had, I don't know which member. Guys, it was a lot going on in this video. Yeah.

00:06:25 --> 00:06:52 so i do like their outfits where they're like dancing in their mirror attire yeah in the video but it's a lot going on it feels like it's filmed like a movie um which i think keeps it interesting um but it's okay i like the the cgi i think is really interesting but also i think they use all their budget on the cgi because by the time you got to the end of the song they're like animate the storyboard

00:06:53 --> 00:07:13 Yeah, we need the comic book animation for the last part. Yeah, I think the battle scenes, they were cool. I think the whole almost Mad Max-esque kind of desert assassin kind of idea and the character shots that they had. Yeah, so cool. Very, very cool. And some of the fight scenes had some really cool moments. I will say the cameras were quite chaotic. Yeah.

00:07:14 --> 00:07:39 Like, it almost didn't need all that, I think, because they were doing a lot of cool things without the need for that. But, yeah, I think that Sky Portal near the end was also very cool. Definitely very video game-esque there. So, yeah, it was okay. Yeah, I mean, it does what it needs to do. Yeah, they looked cool. Yes, I appreciate that they've kept up with the theme. And it's so interesting, like, watching, like, SM. Mm-hmm.

00:07:39 --> 00:08:01 I'm not like making comparisons like, oh, they're copying. It's not even that. We all create things. We all have concepts, whatever. But my thing is, it's like with SM, with Aespa, right? Every single song was about Kuang-ya, right? With this group, they have a theme, but I feel like the song doesn't really lend itself so much to the theme as much as the video does. With Aespa, they were like, Kuang-ya, Kuang-ya, Kuang-ya, Kuang-ya throat to the point where it's just like, I hate Kuang-ya.

00:08:01 --> 00:08:18 but I know what it is now. Like I know about novice, like with them, maybe I like was a little bit more into the lore. I would know, but yeah, you know, I just feel like the video, the video does more than the song does to tie in the lore. Yes. I think good on them for that for sure. Yeah.

00:08:18 --> 00:08:37 That's fair. Yes. Yeah. So regarding the choreography, so our Patreon member, Julianne, she did feel that this was the weakest title track choreography to date for Anteem. Not that it was bad, but just didn't have as much impact. She did say that the formations didn't feel too creative or visually interesting compared to their previous choreo.

00:08:38 --> 00:08:55 Okay, so if you're new here, Chris and I have expensive performance experience. We do, actually. Yeah, we actually dance on our own channels, too. But yeah, so we dance. He's been a dance crew. I choreograph. And I will say that it was a little, like, lackluster. I think...

00:08:55 --> 00:09:21 We've always said, like, let the person stop and sing, but it was almost like every single moment that someone was stopping, everyone's dancing on the side and one person comes out and they disappear. And then someone comes out again. The first verse is cool, right? The first chorus, they're sort of dancing together as a crew, but then it just separates. And I think that was the whole point. Like, you know, divided were some of our parts and then all together were fire and we grind together. You know what I'm saying? Whatever.

00:09:21 --> 00:09:41 But it just happened so sane-y. Like, there was no formation where it was, like, where- there was one formation where, like, one of the guys come through the other two's arms, but there wasn't anything that was, like, we're climbing on top of each other to build, like, this kind of, like, formation or unit. Like, it- Yeah. It was just weird. It was very much like, your turn! Popcorn! Your turn! So...

00:09:41 --> 00:10:07 Yeah, there was nothing on the floor. Like, I don't know, it didn't get as dynamic as some of the previous stuff has been. I think my issue is, and it might be more to do with the song also, it just doesn't take you on a ride. There aren't really any moments in it. So they're hitting things really hard. And I think there's moments where they're hitting the bass beat and I'm like, okay, that looks pretty cool. Musicality is good there. But I think when you watch it as a whole, there's just no big memorable parts to it that I want to pull out.

00:10:07 --> 00:10:28 um so it ends up just kind of being all the same level and kind of samey because of that i think they do a good job performing it but we have seen better performances from them before indeed yeah indeed yeah so i'll give this one a seven out of ten i'll match you it's okay yes

00:10:29 --> 00:10:54 Alright, moving right along to Bewitched, and this was done by Cameron Warren, Solma Genda, Josh McClelland, Oscar 27, and Jameel Kazmi. Bewitched by you. All right. Y'all, I'm gonna say it now. Superior track. Yeah. Superior everything is superior. What?

00:10:55 --> 00:11:20 Yes, I'm amazed this wasn't the title track. Lune, I'm curious if you feel the same way. Like from the first time I heard it, I was like, okay, first off, even the track itself, the bass line's cool. It's great, just pop rock track. There's some sirens in there. It's a lot of tension. And the chorus is so fun. You do get a little bit of a group chant there. It is mixed with the electric guitar there. Yeah.

00:11:20 --> 00:11:44 And in the studio, in that behind the scenes one, they actually did that chant together, like around one mic, which I thought was really, really fun. And this one has more of that grit in the vocal execution that I was mentioning. Just a bit more attitude. And then verse two amps up, because then Maki goes up the, you know, he goes up the octave. And K does that run, you know? And then Nicholas, am I under your spell now? Yeah.

00:11:45 --> 00:12:02 And we get a bridge. Look, this song's actually even shorter than We on Fire. And it feels way more fully formed because you get a bridge. The second verse takes you somewhere different. So yeah, this is very interesting that this didn't... This wasn't chosen as the title track.

00:12:03 --> 00:12:31 Hello, guys. When I tell you I'm sitting... Okay, so back in the day, I sound like I'm such a... Between the outfit and my glasses, I am not that old. I'm not. Neither of us are that old. Okay? But I will say, I want to say back in the day sounds crazy, but literally, like right before, you know, the pandemic, Monsta X had a song called Jealousy, right? Jealousy was like kind of cheaply filmed, blah, blah, blah, blah.

00:12:31 --> 00:12:59 They had released a single before. It's called Destroyer. It was like metal, and it was just very strange, and it didn't, like, no one was really feeling it. So they released Jealousy. So a lot of Mon Bebe, Goui Ma So, I like Jealousy, but they were saying, like, there might be a chance that because it didn't perform really well as, like, a pre-release, let's do Jealousy. For me, I feel like there is no way in heck that you have a song this dynamic, this developed, this, like...

00:13:00 --> 00:13:28 just involved. Even the choreography is better than We on Fire. And you're just like, this was not supposed to be a single. Even if it's like a B-side that they perform, whatever. But it's just very strange how this song, the choreography, everything around this was so much better. Even at the showcase that they were doing, it was just like amazing. Cause how the heck now suddenly Maki's in the sky, but not for your title track.

00:13:28 --> 00:13:38 They have formations on the ground where they're making like a little arm wave, but not in your title track. Yeah. Like the one thing I remember from the title track, second verse, one of the kids kicks.

00:13:39 --> 00:14:04 there's so many moments in this dance i remember so many moments in the song that i remember like i remember sitting there listening to this and i was like excuse me like it sounds smoky it sounds dangerous and it's so powerful because you can hear the tension building and the guys emote so well in the song and granted that's a vocal producer's job to like say i want you to sing it like this but as young as they are like they're what 18 19 20 like that's pretty young right

00:14:06 --> 00:14:34 their ability to articulate the dangerously in love with this. Like the song has nothing to do with me and my bros. High five. It's like, I'm bewitched by you. Like this person, woman, whatever has got me so enraptured. It's like killing me. And the song you can hear, like even when the drums come back, is it halftime? That ending drum beat? What is it? Not halftime. It's not halftime. It's sped up. I forgot the terminology for it. You play the drums. But what...

00:14:34 --> 00:15:03 I don't know the right term. But he can play it is my point. But you get how it adds more tension, right? Like you hear it. He understands it. I feel it. This song is freaking fire for me. This is the fire song. But yeah, I think it deserved a video for sure. But yeah, K and Maggie stole the show for me for sure. And then I will say there's one more person that I noticed, but I can't quite remember. But I feel like, again, this song, the performance, even the concept of being bewitched,

00:15:03 --> 00:15:16 it's mystical. It fits within that little whole realm of werewolves and vampires and hype, you know, totally. So we, which, why are we not the single? I mean, sorry. I don't understand. I wonder,

00:15:16 --> 00:15:45 Yes, so Julianne actually did say that she also likes it. She appreciates the vocal textures and there's some interesting moments in it. But she did feel that there is still something missing here and actually noted that there might be maybe a mixing thing where it didn't have as much oomph as it could have had. And then one interesting fan observation is that the Korean version sounds a bit different, like with the vocal execution, a bit raspier. So some lunas prefer the Korean version. Yeah.

00:15:45 --> 00:16:10 And actually the raw kind of vocal from the behind the scenes recording, fans actually preferred that to kind of the final kind of affected vocal mix. Oh, interesting. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was giving you five seconds of summer like... Yeah, I'm not mad at the kind of electric guitar kind of... What do you call that? It's an effect on the voice. It's distortion, like a pedal sound. Yeah, distortion. Yeah, affected guitar. I forgot what song it was. Yeah.

00:16:11 --> 00:16:34 oh yeah what song is that it's five seconds of summer can't think of it right now yeah i got you yeah but it reminds me of that which is totally five seconds amazing but i just can't think of the song right now but yeah point is i like fun yes also in the choreo the shaking and swaying in the bridge favorite part so fun you know what maybe it needed a rap

00:16:34 --> 00:16:54 Like just go with some typical K-pop, J-pop stuff and give the rappers a moment to kind of shine. I was like, this girl's done. You know, I'm rapping like an old school. Are you wished by you? Yeah, a spoken part. We're so like locked in like SM rap. That's what we would do though. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Honey, you know what? I'm gonna eat it up, okay?

00:16:56 --> 00:17:22 I'll give this one a 10. I love one. I think it's... Okay. I... On this album, on this specific album, standard's really high, so 10 for this one, maybe. That's fair. Okay, I'll go nine. I can't go all that way, because firework exists. Okay. Okay. Don't change your thought. I'm going to change my mind. He has a good point. I also like Deer Hunter. Ooh. Yes. Okay, so... I can't change my mind. Too late. Okay.

00:17:22 --> 00:17:44 Okay, next is Hotline done by Somagenda, Homeboy Jacob, Andy Love, Oni, Alexander Carlson, Gauze Asahi, Kela, Sean Bao, and Ohashi Chipoke. My issue with this song is that it's like a cutesy song in the middle of this very much like...

00:17:45 --> 00:18:09 you know like testosterone or warriors yeah wolf hormones like like canthroops you know like that you know so it's really cheesy it's very digital as well yeah so now we've lost this like raw edgy sound um and i feel like it's very abrupt and i say that because mismatch comes on the back to life album right

00:18:10 --> 00:18:25 But it still kind of feels warm. It still kind of has like a little R&B vibe to it. And I feel like it's a little bit better than Hotline. Like Hotline's not terrible. But it reminds me of something from like 2012. Like, or maybe, like, you know guys, Owl City. Like, 10 million fireflies. I hate that for you.

00:18:25 --> 00:18:55 but or like or katie perry shut up and put your money where your mouth is and then you add the rest of and jim's verse the it's not an extreme copy but it's enough of a melody for me to be like this sounds kind of old which isn't terrible like the whole like reach back and grabbing out for nostalgia thing is cool but like i just feel like for them like at this point in the game they don't need a song like this especially with the lyrics um the translated lyrics say something like you

00:18:55 --> 00:18:58 following their hearts and like, you know,

00:18:59 --> 00:19:29 staying connected which is why i'm like what the heck is a hotline gotta do with anything and it's like their connection you know and i'm like okay i guess but again this is the umpteenth song in their career in their discoveryography about how close they are we get it we don't need a different genre to express your friendship um and then the lyrics about following our hearts over and we can make it go all out like an mom right i thought it was mom like a man on a

00:19:29 --> 00:19:44 What is it we... After researching... Man of the match. Like a sports term. Like you were the... Yeah. Like the GOAT. Yeah. You have an MVP. Yeah. I don't really care for that. You know? Sorry to bully the song. It...

00:19:44 --> 00:20:10 This song for me sounds like it's from the 80s in a way because of the tech block. Wait, wait, wait. The song is not the 80s. I'm just joking. But the song is giving that 80s nerd, I would bully this song. I don't really care for it that much. It's okay. They can sing so much better than what the song is giving to them. And the song is catchy because of the chorus. Just because something is repetitive doesn't mean it's good. Mm-hmm. That's it. Yeah. Well, so Julianne thought this song's pretty fun. Oh.

00:20:12 --> 00:20:35 She said there's an upbeat J-poppy sound. Yes. And it grew on her with more listens. She did compare it to a few other and team songs like Buzz Love and Feel the Pulse. Okay. And overall, she said it was a good summer song and could be a strong encore track. So that's actually my point as well. This is what I wrote down. Yeah. Is that this is perfect for a concert encore. Mm-hmm. That ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. You know, that like chant. Yeah. Yeah.

00:20:35 --> 00:20:51 Perfect for the fans to participate in. Everyone in their merch, you know, just jumping up and down with the light sticks at the end of the concert. Like, it totally works for that. Yes. It does feel very young, very innocent. I agree with you. It feels a bit jarring on this project.

00:20:52 --> 00:21:21 feels very serious and dark and then you kind of get this very bright moment here that feels just very young you know maybe that was my issue then because i just felt like it just went from like mature to like nct dream nct wish yeah yeah yeah yeah so i think it's okay it just i'm not really the audience for this song so this just didn't do too much for me but i can see this

00:21:21 --> 00:21:49 This is very true. I mean, if I can sing Shut Up and Put Your Mind Where Your Mouth Is, that's what you get for waking up in Vegas with this. If I was a DJ, I'd mix it. But it's just okay. So even if I'm bullying it, it's decent. Okay. I'll give it a seven. Seven. Sorry. Sakura Irohye. All right, so... Up next is the last song. Mm-hmm.

00:21:50 --> 00:22:18 And this was done by Homie, Somagenda, Yuki Sano, Goz Asai, and Ohashi Chipoke. And this was released as a digital single in March 2026 before the EP was released, which I think is actually not a bad idea. I mean, it's perfect for the spring, obviously. Yes. Sakura, obviously. I think both of us called out the flute

00:22:18 --> 00:22:47 Love that. Very unique. It stands out a lot. Makes you remember it. Very pretty against the piano and the strings. I will say I would have chosen a more organic drum on that chorus. They love the kind of trap drum kind of situation in this group. And I get that they think that makes it cool. You know? But this is such a beautiful song. I think they could have done a more organic snare drum. You know? Less electronic. Yeah.

00:22:47 --> 00:23:07 You know, that's my only production note. Come on, Trevor. I will say, though, the harmonies in this chorus are so beautiful. I love how dreamy the whole thing sounds. You can totally imagine this in an anime or, like, a romantic movie with people just walking through the falling cherry blossoms, you know.

00:23:07 --> 00:23:31 And again, I appreciate the vocal execution And the different tones across this group Like you do have some of the members Sound a bit more innocent and kind of thinner In their tone like Harua Then you have Nicholas, who's like a lot thicker A bit deeper So I appreciate that And so yeah I think this is a good song And even Julianne said this was her favorite of the B-sides As well So

00:23:32 --> 00:24:02 Good taste. This song, when I hear it, I'll be sitting in my car like kind of... I can't see my waist, but it's going. The melody is very... Not sure body rolls really make sense here, but she's feeling it. Yeah. Right. You got me... You know? I think the concept of like the sakura-colored... Sakura-colored...

00:24:02 --> 00:24:27 yell is interesting because instead of saying rose colored glasses it's like my pink colored my soft my fragrant whatever is going to reach you you know it's like transcends time and and space and whatever happens you know I'll always be there for you in some kind of way I do appreciate that and then vocally like I said I feel like this group can handle a lot more than what's given to them

00:24:27 --> 00:24:52 um even like with hotline it's not a terrible song but it's almost so bright where it's like why not just give them a song that allows them to kind of tap into the brighter sound without sounding too juvenile and i think this song does a good job of being light yeah of being almost like misty in a way because it's not super heavy it doesn't feel super cheesy either and it feels like a nice closer to the mini album

00:24:52 --> 00:25:03 because it's not an album, it's a full album. But yeah, I do appreciate this one for sure. The melody of the song gives me anime ending theme like you guys were saying. It just, it feels like

00:25:04 --> 00:25:25 Nostalgia. You know? I heard Bokutashi wa. I, Bokutashi wa! And you know Inuyasha. When I heard that, I was like, ooh, I gotta practice my Japanese. I don't know Japanese, but the song made me want to learn it. So that's good. It's very articulate, very sweet, and I love how the guys sound. I do not know anyone's voice still. Except Maki and maybe K.

00:25:26 --> 00:25:46 Yeah, Kay definitely stands out. His tone is really noticeable for me. Julianne did say, though, she did wish there were more harmonies throughout, especially harmonized falsettos in that final chorus, because she said a lot of the members have really great falsettos, and they aren't utilized as much, which is interesting. I will say, watching the live clips...

00:25:47 --> 00:26:15 I really wish they did those harmonies live. That chorus is made to be sung as a group, and it really would have made a bigger impact there. I will say it is refreshing to see them in a different style that's not the post-apocalyptic warrior, the gamer thing. That was true. Yeah. So that was refreshing. Yeah. Yeah, in general, I don't love the way K-pop...

00:26:15 --> 00:26:30 likes to do slow songs. Oh, you mean? Just this. I know you're going to lean back here, too. I'm sorry. All right. Five, six, seven, eight.

00:26:31 --> 00:26:59 Like everyone just always has to look so disinterested. And then because they don't do any harmonies or anything, they just have to wait for their section to sing. And it just, it's just not very fun to watch. Yeah. So for all the praise that we do give K-pop, that is a big thing for us for sure. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I agree. But the song is quite good. Yeah. So we do like it. I will give this one the nine. Okay. I'll go 8.5. Yes. Okay. Okay.

00:26:59 --> 00:27:28 Cut or keep? Oh, yes. If you are new here, we do full-length albums, like sometimes 15 directs, but we do long albums and we do cut or keep where we keep one song and cut another song. I feel like it's pretty obvious. I think so too. Okay, on three, ready? One, two, three. Wait, cut first. Oh, cut. Okay, cut first. Got you, I'm okay. Okay, okay, okay. Okay, one, two, three. Hotline. Sorry.

00:27:29 --> 00:27:40 Okay, and the keep? One, two, three. Bewitched. Why are you still doing the neck? Oh, no.

00:27:41 --> 00:28:11 Oh, man. Okay, look. Overall thoughts for this We on Fire project. First off, again, big shout out to Julianne. You did send us some Reddit threads and stuff to look through. Because I was just curious kind of what the fans were thinking as well. It does seem like the overall perception, I guess, or the overall thought on this is that it's just a bit underwhelming as a comeback. It's not bad, but it's just not up to the usual and team standard.

00:28:11 --> 00:28:34 So it's unfortunate Hopefully their A&R can get that inspiration And kind of get back up there Bewitched is definitely the clear star for both of us I would say on this album And I really like Sakura Iroyal as well So I think I'll definitely listen to those

00:28:35 --> 00:28:51 And I'm still excited to see what they do next because they are a really talented group. They are. Yeah. That's one thing I think we both agreed on. I was like, oh my God, I feel like they just go harder than all the other groups. Yeah. But yeah, I do appreciate that the Looney seem to be...

00:28:52 --> 00:29:21 saying y'all know what i'm talking about y'all know what i'm talking about there's a lot of toxic fandoms i'm not gonna say who because not worth it y'all know keep it amongst yourselves mom's the word but the point is it's like every time we do an antime episode we don't need an echo chamber we also don't need blind like fandom yeah and i would say that i appreciate that the loonay i'll look at that way the loonay does do have like sensible opinions like hey the song's not that

00:29:21 --> 00:29:37 With that being said, I also feel like for whatever reason, they keep doing this like roller hood thing. I don't care anymore. You can still visually get your point across without having the song.

00:29:38 --> 00:29:57 be like because b-witch is obviously the star on this and i don't know why they're like let's tuck it away and then like create all this complicated choreography for this but then like take your turn and popcorn we on fire so i'm hoping that after this this album that they put a cap on this brotherhood thing

00:29:57 --> 00:30:19 Because they're young now, so singing about your brotherhood, that's fine. You're a developing young man. We're cool. High fives. Yeah. But they're getting older. You know, I'm not saying they have to sit there and start singing about, you know, nasty things. But they need a moment where they're like, we're hot boys. Like, when Seventeen did hot, simple song. Is it one of their best ones? No. No. But it's good because of how confident they felt. Like, Lunatic from that last album.

00:30:19 --> 00:30:34 hunched oh i still listen to lunatic they own that okay and then with freaking bewitched they were into it this they want to explore that but unfortunately when you're doing with like i said before you're in a group this is your concept you have to do this but i'm hoping you're

00:30:34 --> 00:30:55 the book gets closed so that they can expand okay because wolves fall in love too okay but again i think the visual storyline matters more so like if you can get a good video just do the same thing with bewitched but just have like a little villain that's changed them into wolves what it doesn't yeah so the album's not terrible

00:30:55 --> 00:31:25 But it shouldn't be like we're like kind of trying to cherry pick and figure out where the good stuff is. Yeah. Because if they get a full length album and it's like this is going to be like dang. You know? And they deserve a little bit better. So not their fault. Yeah. Their fault. So as a final rating, because Bewitched and Sakura Iroyo are quite good, I will give it an 8. Oh. Okay. Yeah. I mean, it's like 50%. You know what I'm saying? It's like because the other two songs are not bad. They're just like, okay. You know?

00:31:25 --> 00:31:54 I was thinking... Actually, we were going to say 7.5. But I was thinking 7.5. Yeah. Yeah, because, again, back to life, even with Mismatch, I was like, why is this here? I grew to kind of like it a little bit more. Yeah. So I just feel like, yeah, 7.5. Okay. Yeah, yeah. All right, Lunay, let us know what you all think of We on Fire and these four songs.
